This last bold part. I find very interesting. I recognize that you mean from Imlie’s perspective. And that’s made me think of something my mom used to say, and still sometimes reminds me of, that no experience is meaningless. Every experience will teach you something. We don’t always see the lesson of that experience in the moment but with time and space you will be able to see how it shapes you into the human you are.

So while not apparent right now, this last year that seems meaningless has taught her some beautiful and worthwhile things. She’ll be able to value herself better because she’s seen what happens when you don’t. She’s going to not accept less than the love she deserves. She’s going to be prepared to recognize the difference between healthy love and toxic love.

I mean these are some of the hopes I have for her. Don’t know if they’ll be realizedi. Along with so many other lessons from the last year.

Absolutely agree. We are the sum total of our experiences. All experiences are valuable. While knowing what works for you is important, even more important is knowing what doesn't work for you. And this you will know only from your own experiences.

What are your insights about this PD trip? I feel like something really bad is coming through.

As far as PD goes, I think you're bang on. Whatever is going to go down is going to have some serious repercussions. Imlie's worry for Aditya, Imlie's hopes and expectations for Aditya, Aryan's concern and wants for Imlie, Aditya's ego and intentions, Malini's single-mindedess and genuine worry for Aditya - I feel like it's all going to reach some sort of crescendo. And then these 4 will have to recover from whatever happens.

I find it so curious that Imlie didn't leave for PD. But then Aryan made sure of that. Maybe narratively this works also. She can't control her thoughts but she can control her actions to some extent. And like you said, where she fails, Aryan will help a bit. But if her mother and nani are in danger, that's what will allow her to go to PD. But I think so too that by that point, whatever it is that's supposed to happen will have already been set in motion and everyone who arrives in PD, arrives a bit too late. I just hope there are no deaths.

so after spending good half of my precious day sulking abt it.. i gave it another thought and i figure out it was my mistake to expect Aryan to behave differently that to so soon.. may be in future he will but not now.

He is like that.. Impulsive when it comes to Imlie. And that scene he had enough of her worrying for Adi babu and he couldnt take it anymore.

Emptying water bottle, taking her duppata twice, arm crushing in hospital.. he is inline with those traits he had shown so far.. just cause he started being softer towards her i expected him to let those traits go.. but he cant. (all this was and will still be wrong.. he just needs to learn to make it right)

Just like we humans are not perfect and we have traits we reveal when we can't handle ourselves may be this is That thing for Aryan. when he is unable to handle the emotions he resolves to his antics.

Besides.. i am also wrong while watching a hindi show with an expectation they are better now than 10years back so that adds to my disappointment.. i should stick to being a casual viewer who has to watch this show just for the chemistry and forget about character development and some sensible way of showing that development.

Still I hope we somehow get to see Aryan apologizing at least once somewhere in future for all the manhandling he had done so far.

So i am going to take it like Imlie..self cooking theory.. when i hv decided to jump into this Rabbit Hole then i have to accept whatever it has to offer until its something i cant handle anymore.

Btw @libran90 thanks for ur no bare minimum post that helped for sure to keep my eyes shut to this.
