BV was a badly made film, though some critics still loved it. It was a neo noir film ..people decided from trailer itself they won't watch it. It was an experiment that didn't work. Same with Fanny I guess but Chappak was critically panned and was a huge flop. No wonder Deepika is doing flowerpot roles I mean who can blame her .. Her next is releasing on OTT, couldn't get a theater release. She is nothing without the support of big male stars

DP can do a lot for BW..sign a film with Salman,do another film with SRK,HR..or they will have to do 2 hero films to compete with south.

In the last few years she could have done 2 -3 masala films each year with superstars to keep BW afloat.oh well!

I swear I didn't know what a big star RS is till I saw BOI going absolutely nuts and by the superstar treatment given to him by them,with Akki,Salman,SRk fans salivating under the tweets.I had NO idea!

Well in March Shamshera releases ..and April all south biggies release.

Off Topic: IMO BW should release all their movies on OTT platform and make every film a hit through mutual musterbation. No one would know how the film actually did.

It is like this..I have said that no superstar crossed 175 crs without a biopic,A list actress or a debutante.

When Bebo,PC,Katty,DP,Anu were working round the clock.. they helped to make romantic ,masala films..thing were going well.

Now there are few subjects they can make films on..they mostly fall back on Biopics,remakes etc.Even then they can barely do 300 crores(a number done by Ghajini 14 years back).A 200 cr film is celebrated.It is a DISASTER economically.South films' budget is more that BW's..they can make bigger films.

You know what Salman,SRK,Aamir,Akki,Ajay have achieved without big heroines?Crawl to 200 crores?

Had these heroes been more fair to their heroines..They would have not lost them to younger heroes and had bigger hits to their names.

RK,RS and others would have struggled with the likes of Alia,Janhvi etc.
