The parable of the wind and the sun

Anyone remember this story about the bet between the wind and the sun about who could get a man's hat and coat off first? The wind blew and stormed, trying to tear these off the man - but that just made the man tighten his grip on his clothes and hold on to them harder. The sun instead shone as bright as possible and warmed the man till he took his hat and coat off himself.

It's the same situation with Abhimanyu and Akshara but Abhi is too stupid to understand. He was gentle and attentive to her on the trip when they met and in the couple of meetings after. That's why she responded to him by developing feelings because obviously she's not used to such caring and kindness, thanks to a lifetime of meanness from her sister and the obvious blind eye the rest of the Goenkas have turned on Arohi's bad behavior. It was his warmth that made her open herself up to him emotionally.

But Akshara is very used to dealing with being ignored and with anger and taunts - it hardens her resolve because that's how she's survived all these years. By hiding her pain behind a smile and carrying on as though nothing is wrong. Abhimanyu has not once (in a sober state) tried to approach Akshara with kindness and gentleness. Since the first tilak it's been all about haranguing and domineering behavior with him. So of course she's closing herself up against his blow hot, blow cold toxic behavior the only way she knows how.

Abhi needs some lessons from the psychology department at Birla hospital. Instead of trying to cause her pain, he could try treating her with the warmth and compassion that first attracted him to her.

That is an apt analysis!

AKSHU had this dialogue in the drunk episode that she lost hope of someone being able to understand her and felt scared

she was talking about JIJA JI 😔

AKSHU responds to kindness i think that's why she liked ABHI on the trip

the other people who are similar are KAIRAV and NEIL

she can't open up to KAIRAV because of AAROHI and NEIL because of ABHI

right now ABHI is coming across as a highly volatile and unstable person with really bad anger issues

so how can AKSHU feel she can trust him or anyone for that matter

i mean AKSHU has seen this guy breaking chairs

that's why his own father tells him lies because he's an emotional fool he can believe anything like RAITA MA

Ultimately there's really no point in analysis or interpretations with all the loopholes and inconsistencies - it's like trying to write in sand at the seashore. The storyline and Abhimanyu's character are all over the place for the sake of TRPs and/or because of whatever nasheela padarth whichever writer is taking on any particular day😆

Abhimanyu's behavior is horrifying to me (and ok, yes also triggering because I've been at the receiving end of unwanted male attention that went from sweet to toxic to downright scary). The world is full of men like him who think their bad behavior is justified because they are in love and the object of their love is not behaving how they want. It's tough watching them portrayed as heroes and adarsh premi, and their behavior defended as acceptable or correct to move the story along. To me, it seems like a terrible message to send in a show that a lot of young impressionable women are watching. Mere koh toh bahut tension aati hai yeh sab dekh ke

Is HC's old show "Tere Liye" any good? I tried Kis Des and Saubhagyavati and no, just no (plus HC has gotten SO MUCH better looking with age)...

Yehi toh na - yeh kaisa admi hai for whom someone has to be at death's door before he comes to his senses! Doesnt he have the good sense and the TAMEEZ to treat the woman he loves with consideration and respect instead of constantly focusing on himself and his pain and his needs without even trying to understand hers? (rhetorical question😆)

The parable of the wind and sun is a biblical ref? Human beings have primitive reflexes, sixth sense, reasoning, understanding and ability to think out of the box. Abhimanyu's character sketch goes up and down as per the writers whims and fancies.

Here Garima briefs Saba as to what they want out of the track and she develops Abhi accordingly.

Harshvardhan, Manjiri and Abhimanyu are frustrated human beings. Abhi behaves exactly like dad...Harsh snaps at wife and jija Or doc doing the same. Abhi has become a psychology subject these days.

I hope Saba concentrates on Pyar Kiya toh Darna kya. I want to watch Akshara opening up. Rather both need to sit and talk face to face without biting each other's head. This show is anything but perfect.
