I got it what u r saying.. I think makers were trying to create hype n suspense for testing audience or may be keep hooked to the audience.. First phone scene.. They were not in contact with eo.. He was in function so didn't have to spoil anu day.. N kw here will get emotional disturbed while taking to her may be he is scare... May be same reason in hosp as well
