From the promos of the show, concept seems to be a remake or something of SGP though there were different traits here & there.
I'm not sure what it is but man, pacing & direction of the show seems off. Pacing felt too lagging.
FL seems somewhat raw in acting or maybe it's pacing but somehow felt it was a dry execution between the paternal aunt-niece. The FL seems like a spendthrift as she's from a reputed family & somewhat conscious about what she does to maintain her figure and status hence at disagreements with the aunt. Strained relationship with her mother seemed to buildup this social consciousness in her.
Seen it in the past that FL's with strained relationships with parents sometimes get on nerves in ITV based on the respective shows' execution but with the slow start, not sure where the direction is headed towards.
There are moments that are bearable for example yes, dryness was visible over the actress playing Khushi (ML's sister) but the song selection was good for showing the daughter's farewell from her native place. It wasn't best bit but not certainly the worst scene. When the aunt of Khushi was talking about the pros/cons of joint family vs nuclear family versus parallel to Gungun's torn apart family scenes, seems like potential for good execution if it improves in the future episodes.
Another scene is the bond between Gungun and her aunt when her aunt opens up over her past & strained relationship with Akriti.
Precap for episode 4 has the couple meet but execution & pacing doesn't seem on par for some reason.
