Hera Pheri and Welcome, that's it lol. Akshay was only good in some comedy roles. Hrithik has a far better filmography, he focuses on quality instead of quantity for the most part. Akshay is the fast food of Bollywood movies, just churning out medicore forgettable BS. First he milked his comedy movies until they became shitty, now he is milking patriotism. He puts zero effort into his performance and literally hijacks important events to play the same character

The argument of which movies are memorable or not is futile because it always comes down to personal opinion and perception.

And unless you have a crystal ball, you can't tell which movies would be remembered in future either.

I guess the word Legend has lost all its meaning if Ajay is not considered a legend

The number of pure garbage movies he has done in between a few decent ones is just mind blowing

And his "intense" roles are all very similar. He depends a lot more on atmospherics than emoting, which is why RGV used to love him

I am no Akshay fan and I love Hrithik, but that is such a rubbish comment LOL

When it comes to commercially successful movies, Akki has PLENTY ! and he has done a few critically acclaimed movies as well: Aankhen, Sangharsh, Bhool Bhulaiya, Toilet, Pad Man, Hera Pheri, Special 26, OMG were all very well received and appreciated by critics.

And since when is Kal Ho Naa ho Hrithik's movie?

Akshay has recently attempted good films be it Jolly LLB 2, Special 26, OMG, Hera Pheri, and Padman and Toilet ek Prem Katha are very relevant subjects as the rural areas still have stigma on menstruation and lack of toilets for women.

His Khakee is a decent cop drama and Namaste London is a decent romance cum patriotic film.

All the recent hate towards him is due to his political leanings and sudden success compared to Khans who are giving flops of late and for over 2 decades Akki was nowhere near Khans or Hrithik.

Reminds me of depression people had when Govinda suddenly gave HGOTY Aankhen in early 90s and Sunny gave ATBB Gadar in 2001 and HGOTY Border in 1997. Boys who are not media darlings nor have much of a PR, when their films succeed, fans and PR of other stars cannot take it.

Akshay did a lot of crap in 90s and early 2000s but he has improved a lot post 2007, for which he deserves credit.

Sangharsh was underrated although a remake of silence of Lamb but that movie was turning point from stunt hero to serious acting. khan fans excluding salman dont like those actors who are single sreen stars who make movies for common man, because their movies are catered for the rich people and never show the poorer side of the india.

before PK, OMG came dealing with same topic, OMG even got appreciated and got a national award, but because it hurt the ego of khan fans and the media they neglect OMG and overrated PK. Their feeling toward akki is how dare a comedy stunt man make a movie like OMG.

But PK was ATBCC CBNCMOFOFF HGOTSHOMGROFLMFAO and earned 300 trillion US dollars.

Aamir became a huge sensation in North Korea after PK.

Ajay is such a fantastic actor and has so many good films to his credit. Company, Gangajal, Raid, Drishyam, Omkara, Zakhm, legend of Bhagat Singh nd so many more.

Akshay's Hera Pheri and OMG has such repeat value, infact few of his comic movies like Welcome have repeat value too. He also has Airlift, Padman, Baby, Special 26, Namaste London which are well received successful movies.
