If I may share a thought a lot of people are saying Aditya didn’t wait for Imlie he only waited for a few hours before he wed Maline is that really true.
The question one I feel is not being asked is how long Aditya waited is was Imlie planning to come home to begin with for at each stage she told him that she was never coming back.
If she ended the marriage when she left without the identity of her marriage which she lite up in flames with what right or expectations did Aditya know she was going to return as for all the moments when she left before she always took those with her as her faith. This time she did not leave him with any hope to hold on to.
When there is no hope how can one have expectations. Not saying he made the right decision or choices but what I am saying is what was he supposed to wait for?
The question is not of choice is more of a question of does Imlie need or want Aditya love for we have seen in him she is his need whereas her actions speak of want and not need. She places everyone on the same page for she still believes Maline can be redeemed, there needs above there’s so no matter how many times she speaks of trust there she has to be selfless and learn that not everyone sees a view point the same way we all a different. Love is not selfish but selfless.
It’s not about how you want to be love it’s how they need to be loved. Aditya knew that for him to own his feelings he had to first acknowledge her as his wife and cherish her dreams as she own and walk by her side when everyone told him they were wrong. He offered support just as Imlie did at the start when they were strangers and then friends but in the end when she became the wife she forgot that she had to hold his hand and not worry of others yet she let Maline needs dictate her choices and that of the child.
He did ask her to decide for her self but back then it was always about the idea of a perfect family and not what she wanted of them. Until she knows what she needs from him she won’t be at peace matter how many times she is proven right.
She has to learn to embrace Aditya for whom he is and not like Maline mould him to be the man she thinks he should be. What the point then for she is being just like her own sister. She needs to communicate what she wants in both her actions and words.
Sorry I don’t blame Aditya alone for this nor do I feel he is out of place. Yes today she has found the truth but what does that change? Does that means she trust him, does that mean she still loves him? What has this truth brought them that she was right and he was wrong? What is she willing for him to see.
Don’t get me wrong I could feel her pain as she woke but to me it felt empty because it’s like she is speaking fact and not of what she feels.
