Imli already trusted him with video of Kalini pretending to be Imli when she violated him. Rather than hand her over to the police he erased the video. The “idiot” label Imli gave him is how viewers see this patrakar. Useless that he didn’t bother to investigate stuff happening in his own life and fell into Kalini’s kooa with eyes wide open.

I got the same feeling after watching the entire episode not just the precap in a silo.

The first scene where he is intensely looking at dd in a very low key nasty manner and then responds to imlu saying i have nothing to say. Then the precap scene where he is asking imlu calmly to leave asr and come back to him to which imlu responds negatively.

Based on the first scene it seems like he is deliberately spewing nonsense to imlu in the precap to send her away to begin the dd expose. I am not going to give adi the benefit of doubt that he will do the right thing but lets see how it unfolds this week. Mostly nothing will come out of this either.
