This year was a mix of good, best, bad and the worst. I lost my father this November. He had been suffering from dementia since 2016, but was still hale and hearty, right up to the day before he suffered the brain stroke that took him from us.
Though I'll miss him forever and his passing has left a hole in our hearts, this year has also been very fulfilling in several aspects, both professional and personal. I gained several new friends, overcame several obstacles in my life, and emerged as a better and more mature person. I also spent more time with dad in the earlier months of this year, since I live away from home and cam normally afford to be home just a few days per year. This year was the most time I spent with my parents, and I'll always have those memories to cherish.
Wish all of you a very happy new year. May we have a whole new beginning in 2022. ❤️
So sorry to hear about your loss. Losing a parent is losing ones childhood, is what I heard from the friends who lost their parents. So glad to know that you got to spend some quality time with him when he was here. 🤗
