Before COVID many people would have seen all three or even two of these new releases. Now with COVID people pick a movie they really want to watch. Both Pushpa and Spiderman have captive fan bases more likely to pick them to be the one.

Just because a movie is sluggish at the box office doesn't mean it's bad. West Side Story bombed despite being from one of the biggest directors and getting all-around lavish praise.

I know....not every movie that flops is a bad movie...there are examples a dime a dozen....I am just saying that covid itself is not the reason....there are other reasons..because if someone is scared of covid they won't watch any movie..

Debutante actress,like Sonakshi,Deepika,Bhagyashree,Anushka,Asin,Dangal heroine.

No BW hero has reached anywhere close to 200 crs without a debutante heroine,A lister heroine,a 2nd A list Actor or a biopic.I think the number is 150 crs-it may have changed.

Not to forget the terrible acting reviews..two films RK tried to do something different.

Not true. People hedge their bets and make risk-reward assessments.

Spiderman is the one movie I have made an exception to go see. I assessed the reward of seeing that movie high that I was willing to make an exception and take a risk. I did not go see Shang Chi despite how much I was waiting for it. I haven't seen many movies that I would normally have seen in theaters. I know I am not the only one.

So yes, there are several people out there that are not seeing 83 but probably watched Spiderman or another movie. And ergo, it is true that COVID is affecting movies.
