Why are women expected to sacrifice jobs, get transfers, move to a different place etc. in relationships most of the time?

Do men realise how difficult these changes are? They behave as if it's all so easy.

Sorry for bringing up this topic on new year.

But ...this 'friend' of mine is most likely going through a break up because of this.

She's confused and hurt.

Don't want to get into details. :(

But women just can't have it all can they.

Because men are trash in general. Unfortunately the exceptions are far and few between.

Sorry your friend couldn't realise this about her guy earlier.

After marriage, Women are expected to start living with the strangers leaving their parents, make the in-laws as their new parents and forget their own parents, change their identity, change their last name, change their first name also in some cases and here your friend is complaining about changing a job? How dare she?

Because that's what has been normal in our society for a long time...

But people in the present day need to realise that these types of "rules" (though they may have kinda sorta made sense once upon a time) are totally outdated and irrelevant now so it's about time we did away with them and adopted ways of thinking that are fair and appropriate to the time and places we are in now.

Trouble is though that those who unfairly benefit from something are often desperate not to let it go...

It's all about having a good partner in your life. A lot of women suffer in the hands of their laws. While others are doing fine. Some suffering and bearing living at in laws house for many many years.

It depends upon how much hold do you have in the in laws house.

Sometimes in laws are very bad and dominating, sometimes the girl's side is too bad to handle for a husband's family.

People who are highly self centered and manipulative with zero tolerance power often create troubles for life partners in a household setting.

But why fall in love or be in relationship with someone living in different place, having different family or working at the same office example..
