About not letting Malini reveal the truth, here I bring a different side, it was his mom who was about to reveal the truth to the T's so as a CEO may be he wanted to avoid a breach of contract? Bcoz even though his mom was a guest, but still it was his work place, and he wanted to avoid unnecessary drama by his family. But ofcourse, ITV men can't act like humans, bcoz if they do, then they become villains.

You are absolutely right here..I agree with you, but when it's about work ethics, the two adults should refrain from creating a scene or else others have to step in.
But again it's a tv show, we cannot compare it with real life stuffs, bcoz if this drama was happening in real then Aryan would have thrown both Imlie and Aditya out for violating CSR of business ethics.

To play devil's advocate, as long as T's only knew her as naukrani, they treated her quite well, not something Indians are generally known to do, treating domestic help well 🤷‍♀️ Certainly not justifying the Tripathis' treatment of Imlie, but yeah, where's the drama if everyone just behaves like normal people?!

About Aryan's mom, did she know the truth, on why Malini had come to see her son? I don't think so. BTW, I haven't watched any episodes for about 1.5 months, so all I am saying is from reading the WU. Being that there is such a mish-mash of personal/professional things, Aryan should have revealed Malini's intentions. He bought a lehenga, randomly danced with Imlie so she wouldn't be disappointed etc., but decided to be professional only when it came to revealing Malini's truth? That seems convenient🤷‍♀️

Anyway, I am a huge Gashmeer fan, and hence root for Aditya. So obviously, I am not going to be objective 🤷‍♀️

I know - I was being partly sarcastic...when Adi is doing so much nonsense - I feel the rest of the stuff people do is much milder in comparison that even drawing attention to it seems off.

Aryan is not a saint - but in comparison to Adi he seems to be.

Imlie is not a saint - in comparison to Malini she seems to be.

Yes Aryan is taking liberties with Imlie and yes she is allowing it. Yes she is from village but we are living in 2021. I don't see the girl saying no - and she is estranged from her husband who chose to believe his ex-wife and keep her with him in his house and was comfortable letting his wife leave. The times Imlie has explicitly stopped Aryan he has stopped - like aarthi time at office. So she is showing some of her progressive values and I am comfortable with it.

Aryan is giving her his take/advice and she is willingly seeing the logic and following it. That's not forcing. Imlie has a choice to get up and leave his house his office anytime. She is not bechaari or locked up.

I love the fact that Imlie is not this overly traditional girl who can't bear to have a man touch her or come near her. Apparently even in Ishti kutum Baha was quite comfortable around men and it drove Archie there crazy. ITV glorifying women who keep men at a certain distance as virtue personified - when men do all kinds of nonsense needs to stop.
