During the divorce Imlie committed "coat" violating section be-cold-always.

Okay now for my thoughts on today:

On Imlie:

-The sindoor in Malini's maang and the look on Imlie's face. Wow. That look of total betrayal. I was totally sucked in.

- The whole jija saali thing is atrocious, but Imlie is communicating to Aditya, something he is blind to in his rage. Their relationship has changed forever. He is putting himself out of reach and denying her any secret hopes.

- Up until now Aryan has only been mentor, maybe friend, protector. Roles that Aditya either neglected or didn't want. Now thanks to him we will eventually welcome lover Aryan as well

- That gathbandhan statement though - "Don't ever come back for me and F*ck you". 🔥

A word on Malini:

- After all she has done to get Aditya here, she will never let go. She says as much to Imlie with her "don't worry".

- Aditya will rue the day he used Malini so lightly. I think she genuinely hates Aditya at this point. When he hesitated with the sindoor did ya'll see her eyes? Yikes.

A word on Aditya:

- His whiny and crying tone makes me want to plug my ears. All he does is talk in this weird little-boy voice. Like ew. But like mother like son. Even she threw a tantrum like a 2 year old "I'm so sad!" boohoo

A word on Aryan:

- Heeeeroooooo. That's all 🤣💕. I forgot another role he's taken up in Imlie's life: rescue worker

- He told Arpita and Narmada that Imlie isn't weak. And today she proved his words true. She may have experienced a moment of weakness, but as soon as she got there and saw which way the wind blew, that was that.

Uff, beautiful focus on Aru's hands today. A visual treat.

Actually I’m also a little ticked off that Adi flippantly embodied Imlie’s year’s worth of experience in a hypothetical ball of air. I know it’s supposed to be meaningful but for me it felt dismissive and like he’s appeasing a child’s tantrum. In a way, it represents everything she gave to AdiLie, which he took and consumed, to the point where there’s nothing worth left giving from his side 🥲

exactly.. and all the time Imlie was in focus he was looking at her even as out of focus in bg.. his eyes, ahis attention was all on Imlie and how she handles her heartbreak

and today when she was abt to fall.. he dint move from his place.. dint even flinch.. like he knew she would be back on her feet soon..and she doesnt need him as of now...

i loved that one moment the most... he knows when she needs him and when he should stay put.. The Aryan we knew so far is here again...

I just don't want Aryan's heart to break... he doesn't deserve that. In life one of my biggest fears is loving someone who does not love my back. The pain, the hurt of feeling so unloved and so worthless is too scary. The idea of that is too scary. Why subject oneself to that kind of torture?

I also hate seeing one sided love story's... they are just sooo sad 😭

So, got home and watched the episode. It actually wasn’t as bad as I was thinking mostly because what I wanted to happen happened. I’m still catching up on the thread but wanted to pen my thoughts down quickly.

You could clearly see that this was the final nail in the coffin of Adi and Imlie’s relationship. I wanted her to use this to strengthen her resolve to focus on herself and move on. Will she still slip up? Occasionally, probably, but she’s going to not be looking back on this relationship and crying over it endlessly. She’s done. He’s her jija now and she takes her relationships seriously. I really loved her resolve in that respect.

What does sadden me though is that I don’t want her to harden her heart. She’s such a sweet, pure person. What I like about Arylie is that she’s the softness to his hard demeanour. So I’m hoping that while she’s resolved to focus on herself and not shed another tear for Adi, that doesn’t mean the Imlie we know will be replaced with another stoic carbon copy of Aryan. My hope is for them tk balance each other out.

Apart from liking the episode because it really felt like closing a chapter, the first few minutes really were the best part. Aryan’s concern for Imlie was so evident. FK is an amazing actor like straight up kudos for this man, the way he displays the briefest hints of emotions in seconds is brilliant. I loved his concern for Imlie, always thinking about Imlie.

I also think that moment when he let her go was an important one. He made a mistake by invading her privacy and deleting that text. Was it okay? No. We’ve gone through this. Today though, when put in a similar situation his instinct was to protect her but he realized quickly that she did need to make her own decisions freely. This is who this man is. He didn’t help her when she fell, but he was right there behind her when she entered the venue, when she stumbled he was ready to catch her, although he held back.

N & A in the background today watching this happen, I really hope there are some scenes with her and Imlie back at the Rathore house, not necessarily right after the events that occurred, but just some light familial scenes where they’re there for her, even if it’s light. I see not just Aryan being her strength but the rest of the R’s as well.

Adi’s mom was just too much today. NOW is when you decide to speak up against this marriage, now is when you decide to stand up to Anu? Excellent timing. 🙄

I’m so glad this wedding is finally over. I’m looking forward to what’s next for Arylie. Imlie is going to be extra resistant to love, so it’ll be interesting to see how over the next several months she grows and moves on from this pain, to where her heart’s open again - even if she doesn’t realize it right away.

These are my jumbled thoughts. I hope they come across as somewhat coherent. Have to quickly do a thing and then will spend time catching up with the thread!!
