They are bound to be compared because they are part of the triangle

They both are flawed but he’s Abhay is much much better than Vikrant… my point is limited to the fact that Abhays character is not very interesting.

I actually do find Abhay layered. He is a very emotional and idealistic person, while at the same time he struggles with his own prejudices and arrogance. He is full of attitude and hasn't learned Deepika's patience in how to deal with conflict. He fell in love with Deepika because he felt a kinship with her in wanting to be part of something big and revolutionary, and putting patients first. Whereas Vikrant I think is somewhat fake. I feel that he is a very selfish person, and while he may love Deepika, that love is also selfish. I love gray characters, but usually gray characters are good at heart although they may be perceived as bad. Here it is the opposite, Vikrant is a respected doctor and seems like a genuine lover, but I don't think his intentions are pure.

I have to say though I think both Vidyut and Rohit are doing a great job, and I think both have great chemistry with Additi. For me though, the "hero" of the show is Abhay, not Vikrant. Hero doesn't necessarily mean love interest, although I would like to see AbDeep eventually. I just feel that the Deepika-Abhay dynamic is overall more impactful and positive for the story, especially one focused on a strong female lead.

Like I said chemistry is subjective... as far as the 'hero' of the show goes... there is only one and it is Deepika Sinha. This her story, her journey.

Of course, Deepika is the star, I was using "hero" as in male lead, which Vikrant is too, but Abhay is the positive male lead, while Vikrant I don't know.
