Coffee, Career, Carrot cake and Christmas!!💀😎💖🎂☃️🎄

Happy holidays everyone!! Today I am really going to try and keep my festive mood alive so will try my best to not lose it on makers😂

Literally half the episode is dedicated to the exes bonding over coffee..I wish she had a coffee conversation with Anuj someday and express her feelings but nooooooo...okay I am done with my complaints! Vanraj and Anu are finally able to spend more than 10 mins with no bitterness in their hearts for each other and laugh over where and how life has brought them at this juncture. While Anu is proud of her journey and is grateful for Anuj in her life, Vanraj feels lighter and is hopeful for a new chapter in his career. He encourages Anu to express her feelings to Anuj. I liked the fact there is no lingering awkwardness between them. There is awareness of each other's goodness and flaws, acceptance of their past and present and a genuine wish to see each other happy in their respective lives. Anu's gestures do make it clear that she has forgiven him but not forgotten those excruciating moments that made her who she is today. In short she chose to become wiser and not wounded!👏👏

The song and both of them splitting by their cabins symbolised this is where their journey ends and they will still be a part of each other lives but doning different roles😃

I witnessed a very guilt ridden and restless Anuj today. He is as usual blaming himself for questioning Mal to a point where you can literally see he is loathing himself for the altercation. To fix this, he decides to surprise Mal with a gift. I have seen such ppl in my life. They live with such hollow in their chest that they keep pouring love and gifts in the hope they receive love. Anuj's love for Mal is unhealthy and will back fire leaving him crippled. I feel Anu doesnt yet get the extent of help he needs to survive this.😒😐

Mal invites Anu for the party and requests her to bake a carrot cake( I love carrot cake, baked one myself this christmas😋)..she gets nostalgic about her fav christmas memory and trips and falls when she is leaving. Anuj tying her laces to pick her up is a sign he will be there to clean up her dirty work and fix things for her even if it is her fault (she choses not to tie the laces)..she leaves a fataka when she makes MaAn awkward with the proposal joke!☺

Shah house busy with decorations...🤨abbey kitna decorate karoge yaar..everyone is done putting up the ornaments on the tree and Mal wishes to place the star on top. Just as she tries to, Kavya places her star..Maa kasam the cold stare Mal threw at her, I really saw a bloody christmas coming😂😂🤣

Anu is busy making carrot cake in Anuj's bedroom😂😂yaar his apt is shrinking day by day. Who grates carrot in the bedroom😆😆 Anuj lends a hand for help and plays a prank on her by pretending he hurt his finger. She gets all emotional and Anuj in the effort to console her cups his hand on her cheeks and wipes her tears. He touched her face for the first time☺😚🥲😍🥰🤩 yeh log na ek min ka MaAn lollipop dheke humara mooh bandh karwarthe hai🤐

Precap- Anu is again dreaming( tu dream hi karthi rahe meri ma, kuch mat bol🙄🙄) mal is requesting bapuji to get her brother and Anu married. I think this is where she gets fatka from Baa or Anuj and she storms out. I mostly think its Anuj🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Verdict- if you are exclusive MaAn fan, poora ka poora fillerrrrrrrrrrr tha!! Not a 6am epi at all. MaAn scene is last 40 seconds( you are welcome)

All in all a bitter sweet episode..but this constant effort by makers to show us V and Anu have moved on is getting a little annoying now. I mean we know it and get it! Can we all move past that now and focus on MaAn union🙄

The new BTS pics of MaAn sitting on a bench in the morning still dressed in christmas attire and having a conversation means one of my desires from the bucket list has come true😛 heart to heart conversation entire night😘🤩looking forward to that! Have a wonderful day peeps!!

I feel the writers are overdoing the protective elder brother thingy too much. If I act like Mukku, I would get a tight slap! 🤔

While we watch unhappening cricket matches, and in the last over games turns in our team’s favor - toh kitna maaza aata hai wahi wala feel tha aaj ka episode😍😍😍😍

We have Anupama n Vanraj bonding over their new found friendship. They remember the mistakes and laugh over it. I don’t have much comments on it as a viewer but for both of the characters, it could be good that they are moving ahead without grudges and maintaining cordial relationships which in turn helps their children. Bas that’s all I can find positive in it for now.

Some office scenes with Vanika n MaAn happen in parallel - probably to emphasize more on all are interested in work too not just family drama 🙄

Also we have Shahs continuing with decorations and message to all about celebrating all festivals..

Oh before that, Mukku invites Anu to Christmas party also remember her first XMas party. Though pained at the loss of parents, she quickly recovers. But Anu notices it. Post that Mukku trips, Anu helps her while Anuj ties her laces. While leaving Mukku asks MaAn to propose and get married leaving both embrassed. Anuj promise in mind to gift the best Xmas present ever to Mukku. Also Mukku requests Anu for carrot cake … I don’t know why I feel the best gift Anuj could gift is the family she lacks in form of Anu.

Girls, this is our last over😍😍😍 - totally made the episode for me. We have Anu peeling n grating carrot and Anuj comes to help. He plays prank of getting cut in his fingers and Anu is all in tears. Anuj realizing his prank gone too far, apologizes but girl is still in tears and Anuj wipes her tears 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰— I so loved the moment. It was a lollipop but I liked it🤣🤣

Precap- Anuj asks Anu if she loves him and girl blushes and hides her face ( I don’t know if it’s a dream of Anu - I hope not, how many more dreams🤨)

Mukku in party asks Baapuji for Anu’s hand for her brother - ek dum seedha marriage prosposal leke gayi hai behen apne bhai ke liye 🤣🤣

The last few moments made it for me 😍 on this rather unhappening episode.

Lovely analysis, Sunny! When I was watching the episode, I was so sure that today we all will be 🤯😡 But you’re right… The makers shut our mouth by giving us cute MaAn moments in every episode. Anyways, I’d have liked Anu-V conversation if Vanraj was NOT an abuser. It would be a nice change to see the exes making peace with each other and moving on… However, the fact that Vanraj is an abuser doesn’t just go away. Sadly, this is the mindset of most of the people in our society - that abuse is only physical and the emotional, verbal, and psychological abuse that Vanraj has inflicted Anu with has merely been termed as his personality traits. Non-physical abuse is NON-existent both in ITV and in our society. Chalo I’m happy with the fact that Anu reminded Vanraj not to break Anuj’s trust and reminded him of his bad traits when he asks about it. I’m glad that she has made peace with her past because until she doesn’t do so, her present wouldn’t be as awesome as she deserves.

Regarding Anuj’s monologue - I agree with you. He needs help about his relationship with Mukku. It’s psychologically unhealthy for both of them, but I’m not sure if the makers will address this. 🤔🤔 My heart went out for him though… He’s so guilt ridden 😞😞😞

Coming to MaAn scene - I can’t believe Anuj touched Anu’s face for the first time. 😍😍😍😍 Just a simple physical touch and I felt my screen 🔥🔥 Anuj too expects from her and shows his right on her and doesn’t friendzone himself anymore, but his conscious mind constantly stops him, and he wouldn’t understand what it is unless Anu clearly articulates that she loves him. Anu is so awe and cute when she’s crying at his prank… Yeh Anuj k saath rehti hai toh Anuj ki Anu hojati hai ekdum… Hard to explain 😳😆

For the precap - I am not sure why Anu would dream about confessing TWICE… Kahi yeh sach toh nahi? 🤔🤔🤔 Maybe confession in front of the family will be dramatized because it’s like a kaand for the Shahs 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 And I commend Mukku’s openness 😆 Patani kya hoga… Mujhe toh Anuj ka gift bhi kand ka koi foreshadow lagraha hai
