When Meeti the mother who matters and raised Imli is not even consulted or in the picture now, who gives Aparna or ASR and his bahu obsessed mother the right to talk Imli into marrying ASR simply because she is single if that were to happen?
Since the show began Imli’s only dream has been higher education, to become Bada officer and have her mother live in the city with her (maybe Nani too now) and give them a better life.
Sita Mother herself was married only to Ram for life. Hav8ng Imli married to diff men goes against her character sketchftom the start. She always saw only Adi as her husband for life. What’s the justification for a sudden marriage to ASR out of the blue for no rhyme or reason, if that’s where they are taking this story.
But the very ppl who treated her with contempt Aparna in particular doesn’t get to decide if Imli should get married. What do they really know about ASR to think she should jump from the pot into the fire. Let Imli pursue her dream of higher education and live life on her terms.
ITV shows make their leads change partners like they change clothes. They’ve forgotten what they scripted early on. After 250 episodes it seems like it’s a diff show disconnected from the first 250 episodes. They’ve made a mess of what started off a better script by ITV standards. The bigamist hero playing ping pong switching wives is not organic by any standards.
