If Adi also wants to be with her thats absolutely fine. If not and she does not move on - she's hurting herself. We all know the back story and see it from afar. She does not even know if he loves her - she is questioning it and also he has obligations to another woman and according to her he gave her a divorce...does she want to be with him - yeah of course she loves him,,,but she does not have a choice now. She is moving on with her life with the only options she has. The other option is to go beg Adi for forgiveness for walking away from him, clarify Aryan relationship and watch Malini poison Adi's head more and more.

I'll stop :) I respect your view point - everyone sees things differently based on their experiences and preferences. I just am presenting / defending my pov...Its not always right...but its my POV and just sharing for an healthy exchange of ideas :)

I don't think she ever has had any good support. She has been the support for everyone to use and leverage. With ASR she gets support...is the receiver than the giver as she has been to date.

the kaada moment where she calls asr kadwaa - head tilt

park - kadoos moment - asr embarrasment - the way she was smiling at asr after she got down the slide

temple - where she playfully walks behind ASR imitating his walk

happiness in being the opportunity to be an intern and the opportunity for her talent to be recognized with first article and second. baby steps towards her dream.

comfort in knowing one person is watching out for her - rescue from gundas, home to stay, holds her when she is breaking, strict mentoring, apps for her safety...all this is care that has not been shown to Imlie in a long time. She did not go actively looking for it. We can see it as SM sending her someone. We don't know. Did she not say to Imlie go live your life and follow your dreams. Is Aryan perfect no - but is anyone in this show perfect? Name one. So far he is seeming better than others. Positives outweigh negatives.

she is finding distractions amongst her complicated life and is becoming more like the old Imlie. When was the last time she did these antics in T house - I can't even remember.

Disclaimer: I can only go with what is shown in the show. If makers intend to make him negative from the start and all this was his plan...we still got to see cute moments amidst all the toxicity and negativity

One would generally like to have a partner who makes other feel pretty much comfortable , secure , who is emotionally supporting , always motivating, mentoring , trustful and who doesn't have any complex/adulterous relationship history.

Adilie has chemistry

Relationship could stand longtime and looks best even without chemistry if it contains the above mentioned points but vice-versa couldn't be.

But a relationship only with chemistry and not having the mentioned points would look like a rotten one and couldn't stand for longtime(could withstand with lot of compromises and difficulties but never could be a good one).

I seriously feel Adilie relationship has only chemistry and deeply faulted in all the above mentioned points. To the contrast Arulie relationship may not be having such level of chemistry but seems to be like having all the above points !

It's now only upto Imlie to decide to still continue her relationship and hold on to Adi or move on in her life.

See, with Aditya and Imlie, the entire equation can be summed up as Its complicated.

Which is true, to be honest. There is no chemistry issue because they have it. Its an issue of balance and barabari. Bahut hi jyaada extreme hai. Its like extreme cluelessness v/s extreme devotion. Bhai there should be some meeting point, I don't find it. Both of them are at both ends of the spectrum. And barabari, Imlie's projection has always been that of mera pati mera devta hai and Behuda has began believing that. As if he is not opinionated enough, Imlie has literally put him on a pedestal. And 2 sisters gushing over him, just ends in him receiving some kind of a high, which even opium cannot offer. Pyaar vyaar thik hai, but this is my issue.

Contrasting it with Aryan and Imlie, they are literally at two ends of a spectrum, cause Aryan is even higher up the ladder than Aditya in terms of status, lifestyle city v/s village conditioning everything. But both of them have seemed to find a meeting point, a balance. Their interactions are well-matched in spite of the gap. Aryan is her boss but they interact like two people just having a chat, a chat between equals. You all believe Aryan is a villain, thik hai, maan lete hai. But Aryan has given Imlie, what Aditya has not even begun thinking he should be giving.

He has established a comfortable space for her to state her views and opinions and not be called out for showing "ego" or being "insecure" or being "stubborn". He doesn't treat her as a child. If he feels she is crossing a line he speaks to her in the language she understands. He has left her to cry, mope, weep and he has pulled her up also many times. She isn't uncomfortable expressing displeasure or discomfort with him. Yes, his methods are pretty questionable, but they have managed to drive the point across to Imlie. Their equation is just about them, where no one needs to understand and they don't find it necessary to justify it. It has just a lot of clarity, directness, a conversation. And I find chemistry in interactions between them, that is it for me.

@ bold : True , conversation between asr and Imlie was just like a friendly chat between equals.Aryan has given Imlie such sort of comfort in their relationship. Though he is stubborn , his way of teaching her is different and even bit strict in mentoring but he is actually making her only to think and focus on her dreams by asking her to let go off her past and asking her to do/achieve what she wants to.

He is never forcing or manipulating her but providing her options and asking her to choose among them. At the same time whenever she is hesitating /feared / falling weak he is providing the emotional support and showing her right path when she is taking her decision.

Though he is shown entering the show as a villain but he is shown as a person who cares more for his family , kind hearted as he goes to orphanage and thus making him look like a more humanly person. Funny part is that he also started to show care and concern for Imlie(and certainly he doesn't even giving a thought about it and taking it as he doesn't want another person to suffer like his BIL bcz of Adi).

Since last 4 months there was enormous amount of toxicity with Imlie crying buckets , worst sautan drama with always becharagi and more complex dumb and blind ML and it has become too much hestitating to watch such episodes.

These days I'm liking the light episodes and looking more like a Imlie journey.

It is not even friendly. Aryan is silent and Imlie is non-silent, but the understanding has been built, even though there are subjects that haven't been broached yet. But Imlie has begun to understand that Aryan may be strict or bitter, but his style of making her understand things is like that. He will not mollycoddle her like bacchi hai, rehne do. Neither he will be her kandha. He will just show her the way to being her own anchor. Just like he had to go through a different process of growing up.

It's not that Imlie is not mature. She is. But uske bhi certain behavioral issues hai jisko woh lagaam me nahi rakhti. Woh Aryan somehow has managed to reach out to her, and she has understood. Unlike tum samajh nahi rahi, ye tumhari zidd hai, apne ego ko beech me mat aane dena iss assignment ke. Bhai, ek to Aditya ko tact ki itni kami hai, ki bandi koshish karke bhi na samajh sakti ki tu bolna kya chahta hai. Upar se tere saans wale taane. Journalist ho kar dhang se communicate kaise nahi aaya usko, I don't know. Aryan kaise kar leta hai??? Kya aisa bolta hai woh jo Imlie samajh jaati hai, aur teri baatein palle nahi padti uski. Communication is a major issue between Aditya and Imlie, apart from the trust. Bhai, baat karo jo samajh aaye. Jab Imlie bolti hai to Aditya behra ho jaata hai, and jab Aditya bolta hai to Imlie behri ho jaati hai. Kaisi shaadi hai ye?? And lets not talk about ego. Woh har ek kirdaar me bharpur hai bhai.

What kind of love is this? Misunderstanding me dard hota hai, jhagda hota hai, kaha suni hoti hai, cold war hota hai kitna facets hai. But ye gandi, zaleel baatein karna. Is there no other way to handle this character? He can be hurt without being shown so pettily. Thankfully Imlie did not hear all this. And Malini, consent ki baat karti hai; tab consent ke baare me socha nahi when she waltzed into Aditya's room putting him in an inebriated state. Anyway, he doesn't think beyond himself, and she is guilt-tripping him further for this hollow sham of a marriage.

Ek to jab aise dialogues likhte hai tab kya sochte hai ye log. Ye log denge aur hum log lapet lenge. Aditya ke muh se barbaad, chanchal, titli and Malini ke muh se consent sun ke taaliyan bajayenge. Hadh hai.
