As long as story was true to its natural format, the natural love between Aditya and Imlie, the jealousy of Malini, everything was fine. But why and how a middle class family (as per the family own admissions) or even Malini's family have usage of guns etc, the overhyped actions.. it moves from natural story telling to superficial fiction where just to make folks wear some dresses, the DDLJ songs etc put.. It fails to create that interest in audience. Unless some die hard folks who follow Adlie or Arlie love link.. But all can get married to anyone and story can end. A classic case of bunch of wasted talents, directors etc in an effort to just get TRP. All good stories need to end.. That is what life is all about. Anything twisted, damaged and stretched is bound to reflect on each actor's faces sooner or later. So maybe we find Adi smiling when Anu telling Imlie that she is Naukrani.. but maybe he is amused as to how long Audience and himself can bear all this
Thank you for this short and crisp summary of what the story has become. Very well articulated! Absence of the hype was one of the things that drew me to this show in the first place. The current track is extremely disconnected to the earlier story and it appears like they are deliberately creating ridiculous and over the top situations to shove new characters while still somehow attempting to keep the old ones relevant! I wish they would give the old character who do not have any more value to add to the show a dignified exit instead!
Good point about the use of guns in a middle class family. I have always thought about it, but never been able to express it well. Exactly, extremely far fetched situations, shoddy writing and unnecessary grandiose has started to leave a very bad taste about the show! It seems like the entire show is now focused on one thing - having the audience play a guessing game if it is Adilie or Arylie, and the story doesn't matter at all anymore!
Truly a bunch of wasted talents. Gash wasn't kidding when he said he was exhausted playing this character. It is exhausting to (not) watch, I can imagine how it must be to actually do this! As for his smirk, he probably doesn't know what else to do, with his very wasted presence on the show.
