Title - Adventures of SevenStreaks!!
She had been waiting for the day for a very very long time. Ever since she had heard about such a school, it had been her dream to get into it. She was confident that it would arrive one day and on her 11th birthday, it did arrive!
Acceptance letter from Hogwarts....
She was thrilled, on cloud number 9. She had been preparing for the departure for last 6 months... and then suddenly it felt like all the preparation wasn't really enough. Visiting Diagon alley to buy her books, robes, wand and a beautiful Owl... she named the owl Nayanthara... after her favorite actress.
While on the Hogwarts train, there was a lot of talk around, that the chosen one was also on the train. She had no clue what the chosen one was all about. She met a fellow muggle girl, who was super sharp and became friends with her. Her name was Hermione. Once she reached the Hogwarts school, she was awestruck just like all other first years. The sorting started and she came to know who the chosen one was, it was Harry Potter! She saw her friend Hermione and a ginger kid called Ron Weasley getting sorted in the same house as Harry - Gryffindor... A very stern looking Professor McGonagall called out her name and she sat on the stool for getting into a house.
The sorting hat told her that she was born to do great things and her bravery made her a Gryffindor! It was like a dream for her - studying Witchcraft and Wizardry at Hogwarts! Her favorite subject at school was Defence Against the Dark Arts and the reason behind that was equally exhilarating. Deepika Padukone was the professor of DADA!!
SS was awestruck to see the gorgeous lady clad in dark robes and looking totally in control. However, SS sensed that something was different. The usual warmth and liveliness that DP radiated was totally lacking. Being from the muggle world, both Hermione and Harry were DP fans too and they agreed with SS when she told them how she felt about DP being a totally different person. Also, it was unfathomable what the lady was doing at Hogwarts when she had a long line of movies in the pipeline...
SS decided to investigate. It became more and more mysterious as she saw DP wandering around Hogwarts' corridors as though she was searching for something, many times disappearing into restricted section of library and the forbidden forest - which were out of bounds for SS. As days passed, DP started looking more and more worried, lost in her own thoughts and haggard...
SS was with Harry and Hermione trying to assist Hagrid with Norbert the dragon, when Draco went and told Professor McGonagall. As a result all of them were sent to the forbidden forest as detention along with Hagrid and Fangs. When Harry had his encounter with a strange creature drinking unicorn blood, SS was shocked to see DP also in the forest, when SS tried to look for her she had mysteriously vanished.
Few days after the incident, SS was rushing for her flying lessons through the Hogwarts grounds when once again she saw DP disappearing into one of the corridors. SS just couldn't let it go and decided to follow DP. It looked as though DP was struggling with a lot of pain and was trying to get into her office as soon as she could. SS rushed to her and tried to ask her if she was okay, if she needed any help. The look on DP's face left SS horrified. DP's face was twisting into different shapes and she looked in tremendous pain. She kept asking for her "flask"... SS rushed into DP's office looking for the flask. Just when she found it and turned around to rush to DP, she was horrified to see a mysterious woman standing in front of her. The woman was clad in black robes and had a mark of a snake and a skull on her arm...
It was a death eater disguised as DP using polyjuice potion. Just as SS tried to run away, the death eater raised her wand and shouted 'Avada-Ke-Davra'. SS ducked in an effort to dodge the curse. Just as she was trying to save herself by hiding in DP's office, she got knocked over by a book falling off the racks. The book hit SS on her head and while she was passing out due to the blow, she heard Professor Dumbledore scream 'Expelliarmus'. The death eater screamed as her wand flew away and she suddenly vanished into thin air.
SS was in hospital wing. One fine day she also saw Harry brought into the wing, injured. Her friends visited her and she learned about the great things the trio had done in getting rid of Professor Quirrell. During the feast when the house-cup winner was being announced, Professor Dumbledore gave away last minute points to Harry, Ron, Hermione and Neville. He looked at SS with his twinkling eyes and said 'it takes great courage to realize when one's favorite actor or actress is acting weird and SS showed that courage. I award 10 points to SS'
SS was just too thrilled and passed out due to the excitement. She could hear someone screaming her name - SS... SS... wake up, can you hear me... SS... SS.... At first she thought it was Draco who was shouting her name...
She opened her eyes and she saw her mother hovering over her, saying - wake up you lazy girl, it's Christmas... You received a gift from your Secret Santa. SS sat up bewildered and realized that she was dreaming...
She rushed towards the Christmas tree. There was an envelope kept under the tree with SS's name on it. She tore it open and saw two more envelopes. One with some words written across it - A story for SS from her Secret Santa. Please don't throw tomatoes and eggs at your Santa when you read this...
And the other contained a Greeting Card that said...
