Deepika is still more popular than Ranveer. It is Ranveer who attained more fame through her initially. Not the other way round.

DP has been No 1 quite clearly- now whether she got there through PR or tricks or means but the fact is her star power when she met Ranveer was immense.

So he obviously benefitted from her but all star couples have a "brand value" together- so in a way they all use each other. It's not a normal people's partnership when both are famous.

Dont think that is the case. I am no fan of DP but she on her own is a big name, in fact hers was a bigger name when they came together. And now she along with her husband is a brand which is bigger than each of them individually..

But I do definitely think thst DP considers herself to be superior than her better half both personslly and professionally. She made her wedding only about her （as if she was marrying herself） eith the worlds “most beautiful bride” trend. What is hilarious is the recent video labelling her as “the best thing about 83” ，whereas it is obvious that it is more a movie about her husband and even other ensemble cast than her.
