A MESS
Things have been a mess for the Pandya family. They always needed a saviour, sometimes it is Dhara, sometimes it is Shiva and sometimes it is Rishita. The whole kerfuffle in the Pandya family also has its own victims. This time the victim was Prafulla but to her bad luck, nobody noticed it.
Raavi was waiting for Shiva in the room after they came back from the police station. The agreement to put the land under Rishita and Dev’s name was not sitting well with anyone in the family. They all were aware that Dev can be manipulated easily especially by Rishita. But there was something else that was bothering Raavi at this point in time. The moment she saw Shiva enter the room, she got up from the bed and stood in front of him.
Shiva was surprised seeing Raavi like this, he knew she was fidgety even when everything is sorted but today, her nervousness was making him restless too.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“I am fine. Are you?” She said while holding his chin and inspecting his face for bruises.
“Shiva, I am sorry. I couldn’t do more for all of you. I tried—“
Shiva shushed her and hugged her. He knew she needed it and more than that, he needed her close to him.
“Shiva, I need your help.”
Shiva loosened his grip on her and asked her “what happened?”
Raavi narrated him the whole thing that happened in the morning and how her maasi is in jail because of that.
“I know, she is the last person you would want to help but Mausa is unable to do anything, Gaumbi is already handling Dhara bhabhi, I don’t want to burden him more. You are my only hope.” She started crying after saying everything.
“Let’s go.” Shiva simply said and held her hand which was all the assurance she needed.
The whole journey to the police station, Shiva did not let go of her hand. They reached the police station and did all the formalities to get Prafulla out of jail.
The moment she came out of jail, Raavi hugged her. Seeing Shiva standing next to her, Prafulla sensed that it was Shiva who helped her.
“Thank you.” Prafulla said.
“I still don’t like you.” That was all Shiva could say before he left the police station.
