Agreed. Asides this we had also spoken of how all the positive male characters in this show have been glorified at the expense of the women. But at this stage- one where the show is (mostly) going off air soon, and since I’ve anyway signed up to watch it this far, I really don’t want to dwell more on how shit the writing is. I am tired of thinking of how shit the writing is and I just want to enjoy whatever is enjoyable that’s left in this show, and today Anurag was extremely fun to watch

I’m saying this all the more because despite all of us complaining about the writing we still watched it this far because there are elements of this show that we enjoy. For me it’s the lead characters as well as their relationship, so I’m happy to take a leaf out of Savee( or Wynn’s book) and just have fun, because that’s all I really want from watching this show. On the days I think there’s no fun and it’s too much, it’s fun to make jokes and collectively rage about the characters, and on the days where the characters are in good form, why not just appreciate it without thinking too much?

Anyway more updates on why Anurag is getting back to form from the dud that was last week-

1. finally kept his personal space from stalker and told her to back off albeit politely

2. Firmly refused to marry stalker and hahahahaha the way he said he has no feelings for her hahahahahahaha

3. Buffoon again told to shut up.
4. Enabler also told to shut up

Last but not the least, is back to regaining his brain cells and doing the thinking himself

It’s because Savee was so upset with everyone “bashing” Anurag. I just wanted to respond how that was not the case at all. That everyone is just upset with the narration of the show generally. Not the characters.

Otherwise, yes indeed the show is about to end and although for me the story and leads are beyond redemption at this point, I am no one to force my opinions on others. Neither have I ever tried to do that. I am glad you guys are still able to have fun with the show despite everything. And in any case, fun is subjective, so no member should be told off if they don’t agree with one’s idea of fun.
