But I think it’s pretty natural to question your seniors if you are also involved in that, communication is important you can’t follow someone blindly just because she/he is your senior.
What you are saying could be true in case of war or any warlike situation where you can’t risk anything by questioning your seniors. But it is okay to question in normal situations like this.
Again saying no idea about how things work in army but that’s how things go in public service. There you are taught, not to follow your seniors order unless it is in writing no matter what the situation is.

This I can understand, however, a NO with clarity can do wonders too. In this case, agar Karan directly use dekh ke boldeta ki he doesn't love her without acting suspicious and hiding away his face, Monami's love bubble would have burst without leaving any trace of hope. What was the reason he couldn't do that? A heartbreak was imminent either way... And more importantly, now that the rejection is done and dusted, is there a point in saying sorry? Rejection is neither a crime nor a mistake. Then why is Karan apologetic. Won't that create more hope in Monami's thought process especially since Karan knows quite well that Monami thinks with her emotions!
Monami has been wrong in many places; invading Karan's personal space....heck... the girl is a creepy stalker in more ways than the other but in the rejection case, Karan could have done it better.
But all this aside, I think what I hated more about the scene or rather ITV rejection, in general, is the " I am not the right guy/girl for you" concept. It's so superficial 😒

The way she confessed it to him first on bed, that part looked rushed otherwise it was ok. Waise bhi uske itne sapne dekhne ke baad it don't feel like rushed one😆
