Since most popular SM platform is Instagram. The activity there tells you a lot of what's happening with the popularity of mega celebrities and mini celebrities.

So, on 2nd December it was/ and now on 19th December

Aru had 1447814 followers , now it is 1451198

That's gain of 3384 followers

PD had 156131 now it is 1554274

That's loss of 6857 followers.

In between they both lost followers, but Arunita was still gaining at much faster pace than PD (who has been more or less static in last 3 months). In reality Octopus has not made much difference to Arunita's following on Instagram, but has hurt PD a little.
