On Imlie's defence of Aditya -
Honestly Imlie defending Aditya even after everything makes sense. It's even commendable. Just because it's over and he was a jerk to her doesn't mean that she should forget that she loved him. Self-respect doesn't mean that she can't ever look at him sympathetically. Aditya is a pitiful erratic mess. His life is falling apart.
People can behave classy upon a breakup. It's not easy and it's admirable.
It's nice to have respect for what you shared, even if was not a good experience. It was still Imlie's choice to continue to stay with Aditya and she can't blame him for that.
All I ask is that Imlie lets go hope of them two being together again. That she genuinely moves on in her heart, with no baggage if possible.
Buuut, I will say this, I can totally see myself getting annoyed in future as well. I just know her defence of Aditya is going to be a little too much, because like others have pointed out, Aditya is AryLie's point of friction. As long as I get to see Aryan and Imlie makeup after I'm fine đŸ˜‚
Aryan's revenge -
Also it's likely Imlie's defence of Aditya which will cause Aryan to slowly let go of his vengeance. Because Aryan will get nothing from revenge, his pain won't lessen, his father figure of a brother in law won't come back, nothing good will come of it. And Imlie will help him realize that.
Imlie's character -
Imlie's generosity of spirit is one of her defining traits and as frustrating as it is, I do think its here to stay. For example, Imlie's saving Arpita is what got Aryan to go looking for her at City College, which started their Aditya-less interactions. Not all interactions will be Aditya-less, but if any of them are it's because of this very spirit of Imlie's which got her noticed by Aryan.
Ofcourse Aryan got noticed by Imlie because of his fast forward ways đŸ˜‚. I don't think that's about to change anytime soon either. In fact I'm hoping Mr. Fast Forward lives up to his name đŸ˜‚ đŸ˜‚
