Child marriage is (unfortunately) still a major problem in India. This show was supposed to be against this social evil nd prove why nd how it ruins the life of lil girls nd boys. But are they really proving that?

We all know anandi jigar are not the endgame which is good, but what about the process they are showing that??

Wouldn't the marriage falling apart have made sense as the partners were married when they were children, but what sense does it make by just making jigar a straightway villian?? Wasn't he also a victim of this child marriage along with anandi??

How does it actually prove ki BaAl ViVaH GaLaT h??

The things they showed with kid anandi also did not make a firm commentary against this🤦‍♀️

Isn't this a typical love triangle we've witnessed already in infinite shows??

Also many people have been already rooting not to separate anandi jigar from the time the show started🤦‍♀️

Since show name is balika vadhu to isme main female child marriage ki suffering dikhayenge

Child marriage jigar ka bhi hua hai but still usne utna anandi jitna suffer nahin kiya. Jitni freedom jigar ko mili baal vivaah ke babjood bhi utni freedom anandi ko nahin mili

The show makes the viewers realise that Bal Vivah is wrong without actually preaching about it.

Characters indulge in child marriage and later spend their life repenting.

It happened in the iconic ''THE BALIKA VADHU" and it is being shown here too.

The writers don't get on the roof top and scream that child marriage is wrong they make the viewers do that.

Anandi will pay for her mistake she made ignorance in her childhood. She was angry and upset with her parents and decided to stay on with Jigar's family and now she will face the consequences of her act.

Anandi's parents are already paying for their mistake of indulging Premji's whims and fancies and allowing the child marriage to happen

So the show is in no way supporting child marriage. It is telling without telling how child marriages happen and why they should not happen by showing the unwanted consequences of child marriage.

It's not at all that subtle acc to me specially not this season. The first season was much better in this respect nd I agree to that.

But the real life problems balika vadhus face are much more different nd disturbing than anything this show showcases. Early pregnancies, education depravity, emotional imbalance nd all. I'm not saying that its glorifying child marriages, but it's not portraying the issues in a realistic nd perfect approach

First season has shown all those things. Jagya Anandi's relationship was one of the most troublesome relationship of all the things they have shown. First season built a whole community and showed all these things through the stories of different characters.

This season doesn't seem to be very successful in terms of TRPs and popularity so they can't scale up the story and whatever they want to tell they have to do so using very limited characters.

I personally feel that this season is redundant. The makers have exhausted most of the topics and not much they can do now.

It's because jigar is a man. Boys in child marriages don't get their freedom taken from them the way girls do. Child marriage takes away the freedom of the two to be able to choose their own partners, but for a girl she from a young age is expected to only be involved in household work and providing a child, but her right to an education and to work is taken from her, her dreams and aspirations are taken from her. That does not happen with boys, who are pampered even in child marriage scenario. Plus as we saw in season 1 we were shown how when jagya grew up he rejected anandi as his wife, which men can easily get away with rejecting their wives if they are not happy with the marriage, but are women given the same freedom or forgiveness by society for ditching or rejecting her husband out of choice? No!

Both in season 1 and 2 the boys have liberty by their families and society to reject their wives or accept them, but in both season anandi was expected by society to accept her husband. In the type of conservative society anandi comes from she cannot choose whether she wants to be jigar's wife or not. How much you want to bet if jigar even in this season rejected anandi and was unhappy with the marriage his family would eventually give into him and get rid of anandi, but would not do the same for anandi if she rejected their laadla.... she would instead be punished for rejecting him, but he would not be punished by his family if he rejected her.

Women are expected to compromise with their situations and not complain, whereas men are given more lenient treatment for walking out on responsibilities or cheating/ ditching their wife and easily get family and society's forgiveness. A woman would only chastised for years to come.

For the first time after leap tuned into the show.

The writing team is completely different now.

After seeing the credits whatever little interest I had in season 2 now is completely gone.

Greedy channel and the Channel creative team with no creativity seem to be bent on ruining the brand Balika Vadhu.
