So today's episode left a very sour taste in my mouth for very obvious reasons.
Rishita rightly said: bhabhi bhakts, and yeah the ‘practical’ woman is the negative or the grey one.
And Raavi could not keep the promise for two days?
So I decided to do a quick rewrite of today’s scene where Raavi blurts out what Shiva has given up for the family irrespective of her promising to him that she won't.
Again, wrote it in 30 mins as i wanted to vent it out. forgive the loopholes :)
Shiva ki ehmiyat
Background:
Raavi and Shiva are on better terms
Raavi asks him about why he didn't pursue his education as she recalls his interaction with his old classmate
Shiva hesitates to tell her but eventually confides in her that he gave up studying further to help Gautam in the store and to ensure that Dev gets into a good college
Raavi apologizes to him for all her share of mistakes and judgements
Raavi encourages him to write his grade 12 exams and Shiva reluctantly agrees
Shiva asks her to keep this a secret from the family as he knows she is pet ki kacchi, maami ki bacchi
Raavi supports him throughout and is his pillar
Shiva one day takes some money from the cash register at the store and Dev sees him do so
Later in the evening, in the aangan, Dev informs Gautam, Dhara, Suman, Rishita and Krish that Shiva took cash out from the store.

Pandya Niwas aangan
“Gaumbi, maine dheka ki Shiva ne woh paise nikale the” Dev informed Gautam, Dhara, Krish Suman and Rishita who were sitting in the aangan
Shiva and Raavi walked in after visiting the temple as all eyes turned to them.
“Shiva, tu ne dukaan se paise nikale? Kisi ko bataye bina? Humesha pooch ke leta hai na?” Gautam asked as he walked toward Shiva.
“Haan Gombi, w-w- woh supplier aaya tha, usko dene the” Shiva said with hesitation.
“Jooth math bol, supplier ke paise ki hisab rakthe hai na, aur maine books mein koi transaction nahi dekha” Dev said.
“Woh Dev--” Shiva said.
Krish let out a small laugh, “Dev, yeh khud 10th pass hai, yeh kya accounts sambalega, bhai kal se mein b.com student, maintain karoonga accounts?” Krish said it as a joke, which no one thought was funny.
“Krish chup reh” Dhara said.
Shiva’s face fell flat but Raavi took her hand and gripped it as tightly as she could.
“Bas karo Krish, kuch bhi bole ja rahe ho” Raavi asked fiercely.
“Raavi Bhabhi main toh mazak-”
“Raavi calm down, aur vaise aisa kya galat bol diya isne, Shiva hai toh 10th pass na, aur isne paise kyun liya, tume pata hai na, hum log hamesha financial crisis mein hote hai na?” Rishita asked
“Enough Rishita-” Raavi yelled
“Tum kyun vakeel ban rahi ho? Dhara bhabhi ne uss din hume kangan khareedne ke liye paise nahi diye aur ab Shiva store se paise chura raha hai?” Rishita asked
“Haan main banungi Shiva ke liye wakeel, ek baar nahi, sau baar banungi, Jo Shiva ne iss ghar ke liye kiya na woh toh aap sab milke bhi kabhi nahi kar sakthe, Aur haan, mere liye kangan se zyada Shiva priority hai.” Raavi spoke in defence of Shiva
“Raavi kya bol rahi ho tum?” Dev asked.
“Dev, tume kya lagtha hai? Tumahre MBA aur college ke paise kahan se aaye?” Tumhe toh finances ke baare mein sabse zyada knowledge hoga na? Tume ek baar bhi yeh khyaal nahi aaya ki, dhara di aur gaumbi ne tumhare fees kaise bhare honge?” Raavi asked him
Dev looked at her confused. “Raavi woh-” Gautam began to say.
“Rehne do Gombi, Dev aur Krish toh Shiva ko for granted lete hai na. Sunlo tum dono, Shiva ne apni padai beech mein chod di, taaki woh dukaan mein madat kar sake aur tum college aur school jaa sako.” Raavi blurted out.
“Yeh tu kya kar rahi hai chipkali, yeh baat toh gombi aur dhara bhabhi ko bhi nahi pata” Shiva whispered to himself
“Gombi, aap hi batao, aaj ke zamane mein aisa koi kartha hai kya? Shiva school mein topper tha! aur isne apne saare engineer banne ke sapne chod diya taaki dev college jaa saake, krish school jaa sake aur aap ki dukaan mein help karne ke liye.” Raavi began tearing up as she spoke.
“Dhara di, Kaaki aap batayi, aisa koi kar sakta hai kya?” She continued as the family looked toward Shiva.
“Raavi bas kar, tu kya kar rahi hai?” Shiva asked her
“Nahi Shiva, aaj mujhe mat rok, tu ne bachpan se lekar aaj tak kitne taane sune honge? Aur tera kya? Kabhi toh apne baare mein soch” Raavi told him
“Raavi tu pagal ho gayi hai kya? Maine tujhe bola tha na, yeh baat kisi ko pata nahi chalni chahiye.” Shiva asked her again.
“Sorry Shiva, main uss baat ka maan nahi rak paayi. Lekin aaj jo maine bola na, woh bolna bahut zaroori tha. Teri ehmiyat ki ehsaas sabko karana bahut zaroori tha Shiva.”
“Shiva, yeh sach hai kya?” Dev asked
“Haan Dev, bilkul sach hai, aur jo paise shiva ne nikale the na, woh uske 12th ke exam dene ki fees hai. Woh paise chori nahi kar raha tha, uska bhi haq haina paison pe. Vaise Shiva hi dukaan sambhaltha hai, tum toh MBA ke saath iss ghar ke financial death ki wajah ho aur yeh krish, college jaakar bhi nahi padtha hai.” Raavi said
“Aur haan, Hum paise waapis de denge, theek hai?” Raavi told Dev off as she grabbed Shiva’s hand and took him inside to their room.
