Honestly that agreeing to PhD doesn't even matter. No degree is that valuable. She agreed to leave Punjab, which she absolutely loved, also adamant to end her family's obsession, but she agreed to put everything aside.

Tejo's primary focus was never PhD. It's her family, be it sandhus Or virks.

The hotel receptionist throws 50/- of Fateh's face and asks him to leave. Fateh starving and sleeps near some place , freezing cold outside! . Police enquire Fateh if he is on drugs as he looks from a well to do family. Fateh sees a open car near petrol station and thinks if anyone can lend the car for sleeping a night. He hears some goons near petrol station office and picks up fight as per yesterday precap.
