Adi vs Imlie

I know we have EDTs and other threads to discuss this but I still wanted to create this thread to discuss just Adi and Imlie w/o involving others.

Where they passed and failed as life partners. I know I have been against Adi for so long but sometime I do get soft corner for him. If anything, he never gave up on Imlie. Just for that he deserves some credit I guess.

Below is my list of scenes/tracks where I loved Adi standing for Imlie and their relation

1.) Mud spa - full track

2.) Imlinder - only Imlie could make Adi so comfortable with himself that he pulled Imlinder

3.) How he gave credit to Imlie and indirectly chopped Malini after terrorist rescue.

4.) His total focus on her studies.

5.) Standing up to Ts

6.) Never letting Imlie give up on their relation (whole of epi 100 - epi 271)

Chinta ji, I have updated the original post with tracks where I loved Adi. Today when divorce is coming, I really want to see things from Adi's perspective once more and see if Imlie ever failed him as wife..

Aarti ji, I respect you, but I too tried a lot to look at things from Adi's perspective even until Imlie left. He's divorcing because he thinks she has a boyfriend. how are you going to look at this particular perspective?

bold - seriously?

he did nothing to get her studies back.

he never chopped M, in fact, he wanted to thank her for her efforts of going to the minister as his wife

What's about Adi's behaviour after epi -271 ? Imlie became majboor to become naukrani , Isn't she ?

Adi has never really seen Imlie with anyone else.. Ever since he came in Imlie's life, he has been the only man in her life other than Dadda. Yes, Prakash was there but only for brief time. So he is facing an unprecedented situation. Also, it is coming at a time when Imlie is actively pushing him away so its natural for him to feel so. I am not saying its correct but its natural.

His dedication for her studies can't be questioned. He risked his life so that she can attend her exam and then entire English track.

Yes, he didn't do anything actively after Imlie's kidnap but he was equally shattered on the news and happy when she got her admission back. He was also not in mental state to do anything. He was still recovering from trauma.

I remember saying and explaining that question of this guy wasn't wrong on shoot out night but the timing was wrong.

My issue is what he says and what he does is exact opposite.

You can not lehrao majboori ka tamga everytime you are questioned .

I read self victimizing is the easiest thing to be done.

My issue jas always been his callous behaviour .I never liked the way he behaved with malini when he wanted to be with Imlie and reinstate her as his wife ,he used to jhidkao her k bas kaise bhi kar k nikal ja.,though she was a nagging girlfriend but yes
