Mahantaa vs Maanavta - is Anupama right?

I did not not want to muddy the water in sunshine's thread meant for Anuj 😳 But the episode had me pondering on mahantaa & maanavta. Some of the examples she gave were bad analogies. Of course if someone is in pain, you cant ignore and be happy. If see someone is hungry, you feel like offering food. Those are examples of humanity(maanavta). That cannot be equated to what she was doing in the shah household, IMO.

But why is Anupama interfering in Vanraj's marriage/divorce? Her reasoning is that V will set a bad example for kids. Pakhi will not be happy, bapuji will not be happy. There is no doubt that she should be concerned about her children's well being.

But, how far should she go in keeping herself hinged to the daily ruckus in her ex-family's affairs? Is her reasoning justified?

She was seen giving advice to both Kavya and Vanraj. some dialogues were funny - "aap dono ko veerta puraskar milna chahiye" 😆 At times, that scene felt like calming down 2 stubborn teenagers!!

Anuj and Maan progression mein no complaintssmiley27

I know writers are not trustworthy but so far they have handled it well and like how they are tackling it.smiley27

Now the msg about selective feminism you have mentioned, totally agree with msg, agree with that school of thought and understand where it is coming from but i dont know why it doesn't fit when i imagine anu in the whole scenariosmiley36

Probably it is because we know anu's double standards and hypocrisysmiley36 she goes on and say most logical things sometimes and we all start clapping getting impressed but then in the very next episode she goes completely opposite to what she saidsmiley37 and we are left pulling our hairsmiley37

So here if she is siding with kavya on the ground of being nice to that woman also who was not good to you but how can we forget that anu is the same lady who sprinkle gangajal on the jhoola when rakhi dave sat on it and like a dictator announced kinjal will not meet her own mother.smiley11 another example was during sanan track anu said love is mahaan, jis dil mein pyar ho wo vrindawan hota hai, pyar kabhi galat nahi hota. Also she is the same lady who needed to hear it out from samar that anuj's love is pavitra and he did nothing wrong by loving anu.

So you see..when anu says something about feminism, women empowerment, being independent and having self respect,it doesn't sound convincingsmiley37 and i cant forget about her foolishness in the previous episodes.

Using member Bechain_Bulbul's post here. I too cannot see Anu in this scene. If it was baa or bapuji talking to Vanraj or kavya, it would have made more sense.

Also, Anupama remembering her own situation on the night of her anniversary/panic attack. The reason Anupama had the panic attack was becuse her faith in her husband was shattered, she was cheated, she was the victim. Is Kavya's situation same as Anu's?
