Why is a domestic abuse case a bad thing?

Anupamaa suffered so much abuse at that household. But fighting it legally would have decreased her mahaanta? A 'good woman' is just supposed to forgive, forget, & walk away empty handed.. No putting her in-laws in jail, no alimony, no compensation.

And now Kavya.. Baa has regularly threatened her with physical abuse. Her living conditions could amount to the family causing her emotional distress. She actually has a real case. But both the times she threatened a legal case against the family were fake & exaggerated ones.

Today baa's words for Kavya proved it again. This lady hasn't changed, her sorry was fake.. she was scared of Vanraj and because of that she asked hasmukh to come back. She is used to blaming her dil and wil continue. It's just that now Anu and Kavya roles have swapped. Baa never looked at them as person, its always the relationship tag.
