In one of the earlier episodes, I remember Akshu saying that only someone who was alone even though he would be surrounded with family, would understand what she was going through.
That is when I knew that Abhi would be that person. However, Abhi doesn't know the reality of Akshu's relationship with Aarohi. He doesn't know YET that Akshara tries so hard to please Aarohi and loves Aarohi but despite all of that Aarohi hates her. I think in future, Abhi will help Akshara stand up for herself against Aarohi's bullying.
I think somewhere Akshu can see that Abhi addresses his dad as "sir", but she hasn't asked him where the animosity comes from. I hope she asks him because I want to know the back story..I am sure he grew up seeing his father be rude to his mother and I wonder whether Harsh has raised his hand on Manjari before.
2. I know Manjari isn't liked but we have to admit that Abhi loves her and Akshu craves for a mother so if she gives Akshara even an iota of love then Akshara will do anything for her and basically be her shadow; and Abhi will love that.
I wonder whether we will see Akshara trying to bridge the gap between father and son like Naira tried to between Manish and Kartik. I also wonder if Manjari will turn against Akshara later like Swarna turned against Naira in S2.
3. Abhi was drawn to Akshu because of her singing. Is it just me who thinks that it is also because of how she carries herself? Or is it that he sees the so called love in her family and it is what he craves? Also what stayed with me was when Akshu was feeding the homeless family, he said "Anna purana, bilkul maa jaisi". I think he also cares for kids and does charity so he connected with Akshara there also.
4. I don't understand Aarohi. She is a pretty girl and a doctor and from a rich family. She can get any guy she wants. Doesn't she realise that Abhi doesn't love her? What made her think he does? Forget random guys, I won't even give a generic example, BUT Abhi himself wouldn't give someone attention if he didn't care. He doesn't give Aarohi or that Ruby any attention whatsoever at all. However, he was always so attentive to Akshu and wanted to stay around her always all the time and was so sweet to her. So why doesn't Aarohi move on? Why does she think.of Abhi as a prize? I don't understand her. I will never forgive her for trying to self harm and then stopping Akshara from confessing to Abhi. I see this as selfish behaviour.
4. Abhi is right...he has clarity in his thoughts and is straightforward and will say what he feels. So he did. His family might have ruined everything but he still firmly says that he only loves Akshara, will marry only Akshara and flirt with her only.
5. The scene where Akshara is crying whilst sitting under the tree and he is asking her why she said NO and asking her how he will live and she says he will get used to it. His expression is more like he won't get used to it and will have to live with this pain. I really felt for him because somewhere even though they showed us Akshu's dream; I felt like that dream was also Abhi's.
6. How good is Harshad at portraying angst? So amazing! I remember watching him in Bepanaah and he portrayed angst so so well. That show sadly wasn't on air for long but I am so glad DKP/RS picked Harshad to play Abhi. He has won me over. DKP always do fantastic casting for their leads. This is their flagship show and they picked such an amazing ML. Acting plus six pack abs cherry on top.
Also I really like Pranali as Akshu....and I think Akshu is lovely...truly Kaira's daughter.
7. OK back to the show - loved LOVED tohse naina laage. And Abhimanyu's realisation has to be one of the best ML realisations...his confusion, the way he portrayed Abhi trying so hard not to accept and then finally giving in and saying that what he felt was love. I love Abhi in love but I also like angsty Abhimanyu.
8. How obvious it was at gopi maas and after that Abhi had a thing for Akshara. Thankfully Akshu saw it but Aarohi ruined everything. Then we had the rejection. How heartbroken was Abhi - he went from a gentle "bolo Akshu" to a "Akshara Goenka ko apne ghar chod aao".
9. Can I mention how both AbhiRa showed their angst and longing in the scene where Abhi is going and stops next to her car. She wants to stop him and say something but she can't and he wants to stop her and ask her something but he won't and she cries and he keeps looking at her.
10. The birthday surprise and Akshu thinking that she could at least give him this. She was so happy when he was happy especially after Manjari sang. Then she decorated his office and well Ruby arrived. YET, he still says what he really feels to Ruby and Akshu hears. He just wants Akshara and still loves her. He will never stop loving her and she knows it.
11. He didn't want Akshara being dragged into this because he knows that people will talk about her and wonder what she was doing in his room. For her sake he didn't care if his career was ruined or he went to jail. He just cared that she didn't get dragged into this mess. When Akshara heard that if she didn't say anything he would be ruined, she knew she had to help. Was it just me who thought even at this time it was as if Aarohi wanted him punished and didn't care about anything else. She just didn't want Akshu near him even if that meant that he could lose his license to practice or go to jail. Thus proving that Akshara loves him and Aarohi just wants him like a trophy. Like he is a toy that she must win.
12. So we have Abhi sitting in front of the panel, whilst they say he manhandled Ruby...then suddenly Akshu comes and he asks her what she is doing there. He doesn't want her to say anything and she understands but she also knows that she cannot let him self destruct for her. His work is everything and she can't let him let it go. So here we have it. He trying to protect him and she doing her best trying to save him. Kaisa yeh pyar hai.
So the question remains - will Abhi find out that Aarohi hates Akshara and Akshara is rejecting him for Aarohi? Will Abhi see the cracks in that so called loving family? Will Kairav eventually tell him or will Akshara say something?
Will the angst continue? Will we get chori chupke pyar kare yeh dono?then will we get a destination wedding?
