@bold: I don't think there's any such rule.

The last serial I was following was the remake of a Tamil show but they had major changes in the storyline. Ab toh dur dur tak koi rishta nahi hain OG plots ke saath bhi. In fact it started with showing the younger version of some characters which wasn't there in OG.

Even in Ghum, I heard, the suicide track in KD wasn't shown.

Thode changes chalte hai, ( suicide track ko accident track banaya tha sirf) par storyline atleast 1 year follow karni padti hai

I was watching the Bouma Shasti vale episodes in BK and by god Rishi ne ghar bula ke Barsha is jo royal Vali akad utari hai na mazza agya specially jab voh bola "I'm proud of my wife and I love her very much" hayeeeee bande ne dil jeet liya.

Eagerly waiting for something like this in meet.

Kyunki tab tak MA-MH ke bich sab kuch thik ho jayega aur fir ye manhooshi kuch bhi nahi kar payegi

Lekin agar manhooshi jaldi aa gayi MA ke samne to wo fir se confuse ho jayega
