Comparisons and Similarities between Meet and other Adaptations

Hi,

I am starting this thread so that we can all discuss Meet and other regional Adaptations of the same story…

It seems that so far story is inspired mostly from Bokul Kotha (Bengali) However wiki page says it is based on Sindura Bindu (Oriya) …there are other adaptations as well in other languages … so let’s discuss here instead of EDT as suggested by TM.

So in future weeks we will get bhar bhar ke aankh band karke romance acc to BK.. 😍

I will try to watch SB and find out how the story goes over there..

BK ki storyline same to same SB se similar thi

To hum BK aur SB ko equal man ke discussion kar sakte hai

Satya aur BK me bas 10% similarities hai

But Meet aur BK almost same storyline follow kar rahe hai

Comparison ke liye BK best option hai I think

BK I can still understand.. but SB ..I don’t think so.. I will give it a try though..

SB jitna maine 30 min mai dekh lia it's diff actually from Meet.. Matlab characterisation and actual side characters.. And the FL ki acting wahan achi nahi hai and the ML-FL don't look good there..

Haan but plots ache hai.. The one I saw they went to Puri-Konark it seems sabke sab.. Hume bhi family tour chahiye..

I'm new to this part of the forum....but just wanted to give a heads-up on the bokul kotha arc as it seems like Meet is following the same. I just had a run through of BK as I don't really understand the Bengoli that much. But I do know that even though things are looking up for Meet^2, its gonna get worse after a few (read about 10-15) episodes..hehe.

.....Spoiler alert!!!......

For starters, Rishi (Bengali Meet Ahlawat) gets really upset with Bokul (Meet Hooda) on the grounds that Bokul broke up Rishi's and Barsha (Manushi)'s marriage and married him for money. He was incited by his sister Roshni (Masoom) btw. Then there is a whole work-related party where Rishi gets embarrassed of Bokul and refuses to take her along and then later when she shows up (wearing a wig), it turns into a disaster with Bokul realising that Rishi is embarrassed of her. From there, things get even worse when Rishi kicks Bokul out of his room. In all this mess, a positive is that Anjali (Babita)'s attitude towards Bokul changes for the better...dunno if that will happen in Meet though. However, Bokul gets injured saving Daboo (Roshini's son)'s life which makes Rishi realise that Bokul ain't that bad after all. After that..things get better. Permanently.

All these things take at least 2 months btw... So all the best!!

I guess they will also go for MU to keep up with their drama quoteint as we know trp aunties love drama but lets see how they play out whole thing here becoz now showing Meet A believing that Meet H is greedy will be very illogical.And also 2 months is very long I just hope they wrap up with this MU & humiliation track faster here.😬
