Honestly at first, I thought Rishita is like a typical nibbi and spoilt brat who loves to get pampered by hubby and spends his money. Which made sense why she liked Dev.
But iss Rishita ko dekhke sochti hu kyun shaadi kiya usne. 🤣
Sathya, I know Suman will flip soon. I even wrote 2 days ago that her next target is Rishita because of the loan kaand.
It’s a cycle, it was Raavi for a very long time, now she is focusing and us mellow, bit soon she will unleash her wrath on one of them, which IMO is going to be Rishita.
Suman cannot be good for a long time.
It's so sad that they had to do this to her character... What an amazing actress they have! I loved her execution as a strong gray character so much until the Dishu track! I only lost faith in her with the way she behaved not as mother, but as sethani in this track...
And to be honest, on paper, Raavi and Suman as characters could have bonded much better than her with her other DILs. Whereas Dhara is a bit too submissive and Rishita doesn't express herself well, Raavi stands for what is right but does it in her own soft, convincing way. The kind of dil ki saaf, unintentional manipulation that Suman would admire, as she would outright catch an open manipulation that Rishita would go for, or be disappointed and annoyed by a plea that Dhara would go for...
Add to that the fact that Shiva himself has a special bond with his mother because of they're similarities in nature, the quick temper, the understanding upon being explained just right, the endearing behaviour with those who know them best (talking strictly about Suman 1.0 and Shiva 1.0 here), Raavi had the potential to be the favorite DIL!!!
What an irony that it was this very bond, with the most potential, that the makers used to turn her into such a negative, regressive, unrelatable character. I pity them for losing out on the potential of this bond! And without a redemption, even if they show this later, it's not going to have impact anymore....

I like Raavi's newer clothes, actually. And the ones she gets when she lives with Mami are always good. Not even commenting on the nightclothes because they're the BEST!!!!
But, I feel like the impact of Raavi in a saree is more because she doesn't wear it regularly... Khayali pulao alert! Kaash one day Shiva in his flirty mode tells her that she looks better in sarees, especially the Gujju style ones cos remember when he was bowled over by that?
