It was also sooo over the top for what Imlie and Aryan have/have not done. No shade to the actor, he def did his job and well. Just that scene was like heights of ridiculousness. His whole family surrounding him all shaming him. After they took a whole "dus minute" to open the door. What is he on?

Also spitting out "Aryan Singh Rathore" and "Imlie's new best friend". It was a sight to behold.

The whole breaking into the house was weird too. With that music when she sees him. In the middle of the night apparently. Weird weird weird.

I also don't get why Imlie hid him from Aryan. Maybe she was just embarrassed? Anyway, it was an entertaining episode for sure.

Truly, I agree. I did not understand the outburst. Compared to the fact that Malini and Aditya have been such good friends that they have been married, divorced, and intimate, AryLie haven't really set the bar that high. I don't get this charged OTT behavior. Nothing like this has happened to trigger this. But, when I think about it, Aditya has always acted on impulse. When Imlie left for PD the second time, we all saw how he reacted. Without Imlie, Aditya doesn't know how to anchor himself. He behaved in quite the antagonistic way with Prakash too. But Prakash had feelings. Here, Aryan isn't even that zone. He is just interacting this way with Imlie, cause somewhere he is grateful to her for saving Arpita, impressed by her thought process, saddened by her situation. So there are factors, but not enough to arouse suspicion or trigger envy. Weirdo.

Imlie hid Aditya, because that is what she has programmed herself to do since she met him. Protect Aditya, safeguard Aditya and hide things. So that is something she needs to unlearn, which will take time. Aditya is not a kid. He also needs to grow up and own up to his issues.

I won't talk about the first dupatta pulling coz I clearly didn't get anything that was being shown in that episode tbh.

A woman by default can sense good touch & bad touch or should I say she can even sense good/bad intentions merely by looking at a person's eyes. It's just that we're born that way.

So when the goons the pulled Imlie's dupatta a few episodes back the fear on her face was clearly visible since she was pretty much aware of their bad intentions. Here in today's episode when A did the same she didn't really flinch coz she trusts him enough of his intentions & she's isn't aware of it. We all are talking about the dupatta pulling but very selectively missing out on the fact that A had a perfect chance (if really had bad intentions) when she was about to fall. She could have comfortably landed up in his arms lol.🤣

Now let's go back to the table manners episode where he was helping her hold the chopsticks, their fingers touched for the first time but what did happen?? Nothing... absolutely nothing. It was so normal no dhak dhak drama no eyelock drama.

Coming to another scene in today's episode when Imlie pulled out Aryan's handkerchief & cleaned her sandals. No drama nothing.

See the purpose of showing these moments is that both of them are bonding very very naturally without even being aware of it.

Lol do you think if any other guy pulled Imlie's dupatta like that would she leave him without giving peeth ma kohni?? Or for that matter if anyone dared pull that handkerchief out to clean their sandals would ASR leave that person unharmed🤣

Yeh liberty ek dusre k liye hi hai

Poor babies are getting used to eo par inko pata bhi nhi hai. They're not even searching for love at the moment, it's not even on their minds. Yeh sirf sukoon ki talash mein hain only comfort jo inhe unknowingly ek dusre ke sath se mil raha hai.

ASR ki feelings thodi strong hain kyuki uski life mein koi or ladki nhi hai. Imlie ki feelings subtle hai as her heart & mind both are clouded with Adi's thoughts & memories. Aryan to Imlie ka usko ignore karna abhi se handle nhi kar pa rha Office mein pooja karte time she ignored him & he directly asked tum mujhe ignore kar rhi ho🤣 or aj to madam gadi mein nhi bethi to peechhe peechhe aagya gaadi leke🤪

My views are purely story based. No moral policing pls kyuki uske liye phir saare itv shows & characters bhi kam pad jayenge🤣

Waise bhi morality ki baat Imlie show me nahi kare to better hai coz yaha to illegitimacy ki saari hadhe paar ho chuki hain🤣🤣

Sab Samjhi, lekin ye dupatte ko lekar itna discuss karne ka kya ho gaya. Honestly, it was very pheenka and unnecessary. Compared to that the car scene was way better. Neither I found it hot nor outrageous. Aur maine bola na, Aryan ko Imlie ke dupatte se shaadi karni hai, isiliye naha dhoke uske peeche pada hai - kabhi chaadar, kabhi pocha, kabhi rassi - multi-purpose dupatta of Imaliya Actually, I feel more than gimmicky dupatta pyaar, I find AryLie conversations more interesting and spunky

But agree although I don't like dupatta pulling it seems inappropriate...

But oh well this show is quite weird what i like is the fact that imlie is being strengthed and motivated by Aryan she's young she needs a direction and mentor... Which Asr is being a good mentor.

Thoughts on today's episode:

- I know Aryan is harsh sometimes, but he's very patient with Imlie. He jokes around with Imlie in his style. He may not be ready to admit it but she's growing on him. I wonder if Imlie realizes that he's made it his personal mission to teach her. I think she just views it as a general softening, which isn't untrue.

- Aditya being all Aditya about Imlie driving Aryan in. So much drama over a relationship that as yet does not exist. Aditya has not witnessed any type of compromising position. Dramas are famous for those moments that could easily be misconstrued. But the closest Aditya has come is the aarti scene.

- This show is illustrating that the way your partner treats you when you aren't with him matters. And it does matter. It tells you a lot about the type of person they are and the type of person they want to be. It also tells you that their caring, kind and respectful ways aren't contingent on your catering to them. It's one of life's secret tells.

- Usually when you have a scene like Aditya and Aryan's one actor will outshine the other. But their scenes are well-matched and well-played. I swing back and forth between the both just waiting for what the next will say. Aditya's scenes with Aryan are the only ones of Aditya's I enjoy, because they're the only ones where he actually says things that make sense.

- Aryan mentoring Imlie again. This time he is encouraging her to face another fear: Aditya. Now I know I'm biased, but I do think Aryan's praise was genuine. I don't think he was trying to make Aditya jealous. I do think he is using Aditya to teach Imlie something here. If I'm fair, Aryan is also setting up Aditya. But on the other hand, Aditya doesn't need to fall for it. He could meet the challenge like Imlie. But alas, he is no Imlie.

- Imlie and Aditya basically get to go on a field-trip together and Aditya seems to forget that he's trying to woo his wife back into his life. Despite all his various taunting throughout the day, Imlie is in good spirits when they arrive and is joking around with Aditya. He however remains the petulant brat he is, and is perhaps just a bit brattier. It looks like the worship Imlie has for Aditya's journalistic persona is being threatened.

- All in all a decent episode, but the promo still feels like a big leap.

My two cents about the episode:

Ek to, I have never heard that a journalist cannot write for another beat. Yes, I agree that every reporter has a stronghold on a beat, but if the situation calls for it, they can definitely cover another beat. I mean every beat involves equal research and study. I did not know Patrakaar bhaiyya was so stuck up. I mean if anything, Aditya has always been good at his job. Just because uske comfort zone se baahar hai, so he finds it "bewaqoofi". Kya writers, ek hi to cheez me Patrakaar bhaiyya gud gobar nahi karte the, "Patrakaarita", uspe bhi seedha vaar kar diye.😆

Khair, the assignment was definitely a game plan by Aryan. Here he did involve Imlie. He wants to attack Aditya's professional integrity. Cause he has been able to gauge, and we have seen Imlie is a pro at dealing with non-comfort zone areas - be it forced marriage, servant status, insulting confrontations, genius hai woh isme. Ek do try ke baad to seekh hi jaati hai ladki. Lekin, Aditya is also stuck up in his journalistic style is news for me. But dekha jaaye to kaisa hi investigative reporter hai bhai, koi bhi, kuch bhi bolta hai, aur woh maan leta hai. Situation reading itni kharaab hai iski, ye reporting karta kaise hai.

As we know, Imlie will get to talk to the actress, as per BTS. And after all, she is an intern, har ek beat ki pakad honi chahiye. One thing I would appreciate is that Imlie is emotionally immature and foolish, but she is flexible and does not judge anyone in particular.

And yes, we can see a noticeable perspective shift in Imlie, which is clearly escalated by Aditya's insecurities over a non-existent equation between AryLie. Aditya is simply jealous that Imlie being his wife is being mentored by another man, whereas this is a professional space, where you are not allowed to choose who will be your mentor. That same Aditya thinks that Imlie is acting out of jealousy against Malini, kyunki jo jaisa hota hai woh dusre ko waise hi dekhta hai. His tunnel vision only perceives one thing - "Imlie is jealous of Malini", which is simply not comprehending that Imlie isn't like that and cannot do such things. What she did not do when she first came to that house, why will she do now? Ye kya logic hai bhai.

More than anything, nowadays I find the AryLie tuition classes fun.😆

Nice post. I have read quite a few posts where Imlie's internship is not what she is doing and Aryan is using her against Aditya. I beg to differ here, that when it comes to internship/job/studies, TV shows never really show the leads doing anything. Whether it's the biz honcho hero or the academia dreams of a heroine. So, I don't see anything different here either. But what I do like seeing, that Imlie is walking on a path of self-sufficiency - be it living as a tenant, learning to drive, using the chopsticks. Its growth. She is trying new things. And I like to see that, instead of watching her doing firefighting all the time.

Coming to Aryan using Imlie against Aditya, well yes he did today. But before that, not really, imo. He gave her the internship because of his sister. He brought her to his home because he genuinely wanted to. Yes, he wants to pit Imlie against Aditya, is what I understood today. But issues to Aryan ke aane se pehle bhi the. Aditya assumed a lot of things about Imlie, which ideally she can never do. Just because Imlie isn't doing things the way Aditya wants her to do, that calls for such wrong assumptions about her choices, is that fair? Her action and reaction to Aditya's questions and leaving the house are OTT for some. But wasn't this due for quite some time. Imlie may be unaware, but she has psychologically suppressed a lot of anger and pain, which is coming out like this. What some think as Imlie being adamant or being influenced easily by Aryan, is what I see as Imlie being flexible and growing. She still loves Aditya and she still wants to stay in this marriage, but this time on her terms. I don't see anything wrong with it.

As far as AryLie is concerned, I think their equation is something that I feel is organic. Where Imlie is being Imlie and Aryan is warming up to her antics. I don't think Aryan is playing any game with her and his interaction is genuine. Whenever this issue will come up, of Aryan trying to harm Aditya in any way, I feel Imlie will just push him to move on and understand that it was all circumstantial and not anyone's fault.
