Psychology Major

I am a psychology major. The now closed topic on shabbir and panchi's acting skills wasn't meant to hurt anyone's feelings.

So everyone in this forum...please don't overreact. I am working on a psychology paper. My topic is analyzing defensive strategies and the role of women and technologies in different cultures. I understand that my post may have seemed rude to many. However, please do realize that this is not my real opinion on Panchi or Shabbir. Every actor is a good actor in their own sense, but thanks to you all, I have a lot to write about in my paper. I promise I am not making any "personal attacks" in my paper. It's just to analyze different defense strategies we all employ in our speech unknowingly. If you go back and read your posts, I am sure you will realize it too. So, please have fun watching Kayamath. I have enjoyed reading the posts for the last few months. Once again, I appologize if I hurt your feelings.

I think you're amazing. Also, all of your posts are well thought out and well phrased ones. I'm also not just saying this because we seem to have similar opinions/takes on people and situations.

So, let me just say this, one thing that has really come out of being on this forums is to meet rational intelligent and pretty sane folks like yourself. Good luck with your paper and glad this post of some use.

However, having read the title of your paper, I'd like to give you a few insights of mine based on what I saw was a voluble amount of feedback to my original post yesterday.

Thank you for your question Ema. I was debating between Kayamath and Kasturi. Both focus heavily on women's roles in life. I narrowed my choice to Kayamath this month. I am very passionate about dance. So, I was watching old Nach Baliye episodes. Shabbir was the host of the show. That intrigued me because he is also an excellent actor in Kayamath. I guess that kept me interested in Kayamath and the Kayamath forum. Then yesterday, I noticed a post on the actors; so I jumped at the opportunity to gain some insight into people's thinking!

So, Mandy....what did you figure out at the end!!! Are we sane or insane people! 😛 ..jk...

lol...I don't want to start a discussion on this! I am not trying to analyze you guys. I am trying to analyze your views. You can really see the effects of group polarization by the end of the closed topic! Thank you all for your support!
