Re. The last point you have made - Octopus team and Raj Surani in particular is well connected with all the Khans, Johars, Chopras, Kapoors, - that is the connect I am talking about. In some sense, it is the same as what you are mentioning.

Also it is madness to surrender moral integrity at the behest of unethical businessmen who only care about their investment.
People with daughters, like me, would accept that any cost is worth it when it comes to doing things over the moral limits that are acceptable to the family/individual.
So the whole question of what is better or worse is meaningless when you are faced with such choices.
If she is good she will survive, Every businessman has a competitor. Someone else will find this an opportunity perhaps.

Any case, an untested music producer is not the sort of thing one would make compromises for.

Whatever the outcome, the choice to not do something one is uncomfortable with is the right one. As a parent I fully support that. I would never have let moral issues take the back seat, especially as the girl wants to be a singer and not an actress.

Overall, I think it is best for her to quit Octopus totally. It would never have made her a star in my opinion.
Let us see if it survives beyond 5 songs. I would not be surprised if other female singers signed by them also pull out.

Re. bold - I am totally with you on this - I too am a father of a daughter. The only thing is, at this stage we don't know whether that is really the case. If it turns out that is the indeed the case, and that negotiations around what is acceptable in a video versus what is not have broken down, then of course her decision is right.

And while I am not discrediting either of you, I do find it quite surprising because in every interaction we have seen with anybody in the Octopus team or even PD, the body language and facial expressions of Arunita have been of a very high level of comfort and camaraderie. It would be quite unusual for a girl to continue to have such camaraderie and comfort if such issues were present.

I think something has happened with octopus as i was reading some comments on youtube that Ashish has unfollowed octopus, sayali, danish, rajsurani on IG.

May be our Aru found something fishy about it and decided to opt out of the MV of octopus entertainment.

IMO, it is a good decision taken by Aru to concentrate on singing rather than acting.

Sure, we will close this conversation here. But since you asked a question...

It is not just about pictures. When one sees videos during the reels they post, or even the birthday celebrations of various team members, or during the song practice / song recording, song launch event and so on. There are so many such unscripted / unscriptable events in which one can study nuances.

But as we've said before, different individuals perceive the same data differently.

At the risk of sounding repetitive - I just want to clarify once again that I am only feeling surprised at the turn of events, and I have no reason to discredit your source.
