Oh it is a recipe full of all shows possible- IPK, Ishqbaaz, Anupama, Udaariyan- from what I am reading..IPK toh I can see...rest have not watched...and thank god for that, because if this is a copy of plots from there, the originals must be worse with no ST and Gash in them! 😆

This show used to have good twists now it has just come down to victimizing Imlie and making AKT look like the biggest sinner...so not expecting anything interesting..

I just have very basic question- did Imlie basically say her past year with AKT was tormenting and did AKT call her opportunist? If yes, they really need to get away miles away from each other. But, I do want the viewers to see that Imlie aint no victim here and AKT ain't no sinner here. If viewers cannot see that everything that happened after the forced shaadi was mutual- I have no comments.

As for makers, they really need to stop with making Imlie look like an abala naari and then enjoying her life- because all you do is facepalm! Here you see AKT still reeling from the fight and Imlie is frolicking around driving a Mercedes and then asking How was my driving? 👎🏼

I thought I'll come back to watching...but this abla imlie.. Atyachaari Adi mere se nahi hoga..

The whole imlie blabbering to Adi after that jumping around the room was utter nonsense.. She like literally said atleast I'm guest n not naukrani here.. Lyk girl do u even hear urself.. They need to be away thatsthe need of the hour.. Dedo na yaar jaldi divorce khatam karo..

Dumb Adi phir bhi dekhne layak tha.. Ye flip flop imlie is not..

I had avoided watching the series for some time now but yes I was keeping tab.. yesterday after a long time I watched an episode and boy was I in for a treat as well as a headache..

Imlie started of as a story of a girl who is extremely down to earth and her dreams were also very small.. all she wanted to do was to geta 2 room house for her and amma.. then she came to T house.. before that while riding from PD to Delhi on top of that bus she promised Aditya she will not let anyone know that she is his wife and while trying to keep the promise she lied to be there for a job and was content in becoming a house help.

She never let that Tag affect her till Aditya gave her money for her work in his house. “Hum kisi ke Naukarani kehene se ban nahi gaye” that was her stand for a long time. When he realized his love and imlie didn’t want to go back with him.. he told her categorically Naurani word never defined you.. if you wont tell the world I will that you are IMLIE…

After Aditya got buried alive Mithi asked Aditya what if the family doesn’t accept her as DIL of house after she was house help.. he was very clear she Is not house help she is his wife and if they can’t accept that they will have to change their thought process. Just before the marriage truth reveal he again assured her that the tag doesn’t define her.. He has repented his mistake over and over again.. hell he got shot for his mistakes… but that must not have hurt so much when Imlie herself blamed Aditya for her misery.. yes he made mistake but never forget who lies and continued with it for a longest time and didn’t allow him to reveal it to family..

Coming to Imlies entry in T house.. she was in awe, Aparna did treat her like a daughter.. got her new clothes along with family.. never let her feel that she is left out.. but when imle entered the mansion her chulbula pan seemed so fake..

in 2 mins she cant sleep.. thinking / worryng if she willf orget sasural the same way she forgot Amma and PD. Then came Aditya and Imlie while changing clothes changed her personality too.. she was upset that he came…she was upset that he came to get her back.. told him no I wont go back.. threatened him with one thing that hurts the most.. never seeing her again.. and very conveniently taunted him next day that he is not happy for her.. this Imlie is actually dadda ki beti… very calculative in her moves and vicious in her attacks.. and I know she is hurting and she felt Aditya can be her soundboard.. in normal circumstances he would have been but right now he is standing on an edge and she is further pushing him..

He always knew he is more dependent Imlie and Imlie can carve a life for herself standalone but what he didn’t know that she can easilyr eplace him in her life. From Adityas POV Imlie is working with ASR, living a this home, drives his car and defends him.. all she once did for Aditya.. and while doing it she is making sure to let aditya know that she will never comeback.. she is nothing to him now..

Aditya’s loss, despair and broken heart reverberated throughout the episode but the drunk scene was beyond.. again anger mixed with loss was all I could see. He is broken but he can still stand.. once malini’s truth come out he would loose all standing. He was always the selfish one in the relationship but at the same time he was the one who loved first and accepted the Rishta later… For imlie it was always Rishta pehele pyaar baad mein.. She has to come to the point where she lovess him for who he is.. not cos he is her husband.. Thats the clean slate for Imlie

Aparna’s anger toward Aditya was unjust but at the same time she has always favored her DIL be it malini or Imlie. They are trusting imlie and so would have Aditya if he had not seen contempt in ASR eyes for imlie and he is trying to protect her.

Imlies jidd about throwing Malini out will not yield anything.. even if Aditya does throw her out A-I’s relationship is a bleeding wound right now. They need time off from one another and rest from constant battle of words. They need to wake up from their own slumbers and then address the issue.

The promo makes so much sense today. His voice is trembling he says if love is over there is brokenness in him demeanor. Imlie got what she wanted in terms of apne dum pe apni jindagi banane ka mauka.. Abhi usko ko aditya aur malini se matlab anhi hona chhaiye. Jitna Aditya toota hai.. utni hi imlie tootegi.. jab dor imlie ne chodi thi.. Aditya use thame huye tha… ab jab who bhi chod dega tab sab khatam.

People will hail Imlies independent journey and expect worst for Aditya (his n malini’s marriage – Rapist and Victims marriage) but neither of these things will happen. More Imlie will try to move on from this relationship more she will have to confront the hard truths of life. No one favors you cos they r good at heart, its difficult to see when you are blinded by trust, it takes two to tango, your word cant be last word in every argument, naap tol ke pyaar nahi hota, if some one was cast aside to promote you then you also will be cast aside to promote someone else, don’t confuse self-respect for ego the most important one you always call family when in need.

Adityas journey will be of sacrifice, letting go, still caring when you cant change the situation, ego should be the last thing when we care about someone’s success, understand and address your blind spots most importantly be clear in your communication. The redemption will be good and it will be worth watch

Their path will converge after this storm we can only hope they are wiser by the experience.

Just as the story is highly contrived, so are the dialogues. The Imlie we know would never say what she said in that scene. I get that they want to show Imlie deeply hurt and lashing out in her pain, but literally every scene is structured so that Adi's words and intent are badly misunderstood, which is simply unfair. Maybe that's what they want to show? That adilie can suddenly no longer understand or at least respect each other's POV even in matters unrelated to MC?! Ridiculous and so, so forced. 🤓

I have always felt that the makers treat Adi's character far more harshly than they do Imlie's. If Imlie has gone through much humiliation and mental trauma, then Adi has been constantly judged and condemned for literally everything wrong that has happened in this show. As you all said, jo bhi ho, Adi ki hi galti hai. 👎🏼 What bothers me now is Imlie was the one who has always been in his corner. She's always tried to understand where he's coming from and empathize with him even back when Adi hadn't accepted their marriage. Now watching them square off against each other like this does not seem realistic to me in the least.

To retain what is left of my capacity to logically interpret this show, I am just going to choose to believe that Adi and Imlie are going through a bizarre phase individually and they'll come back to their own self soon. 😆 Baaki sab humare uber talented writers ke haath mein hai. 🤔

JP, the story never really followed logic and we have complained about that so many times. Now add to the mix contrivance and poof there go all the right vibes and feels. A story/narrative has to make the viewer feel pleasant or so I think. I see people praising the director on the social app that it was an epic episode. I have still not seen it, that is the kind of repulsion I feel because I cannot connect to the plot, the story or the characters.

AKT asked one question and he did apologize for that and it has come down to this. That itself is the biggest contrivance. There were far more bigger issues where Imlie should have left. But no, the creatives ran out of the juice now so here we are.

Imlie was the most humble one between the two, and today all I see standing there is a person who has completely forgotten if it was not AKT standing up for their relation, she would be struggling 10 times harder. She looked like Malini's sister! And I cannot wrap my brain around that. If on Malini's instigation, SK picked up a gun to shoot AKT - she very well knows that on her instigation, AKT asked her that question that day. Yes she knows the truth, but Malini from 7 years has made it extremely difficult for everyone including AKT to give anyone a chance to even distrust her for a moment. AKT is wrong very wrong...but the way it is being looked is as he has been her tormenter and is the one who caused all the pain she is in. I have said this repeatedly, if she did not have any idea on what Malini is doing, Malini would have attained levitation and abhi tak mandir ban gaya hota!

At this point, AKT and Imlie just do not belong together. They let a third person and now a fourth person ride their insecurities. Hum kitna bhi bole Malini and ASR are the reason, Imlie and AKT were weak!

Oh well, like you said JP - these episodes are not going to be the ones I will revisit in future. I have never seen such an unpleasant couple...and that does not entertain me- cringe! Performance was superlative but just keep AKT and Imlie away. Please do not taint my experience of the previous episodes that convinced me that these two belonged together. I see AKT's angst in this entire mess but I do not see anywhere Imlie even thinking of what she has lost or has left behind..I do not see her feeling the void..I do not see her angst..

Because AKT did something Imlie will too...oh well hoping keeping that in mind, Imlie does what AKT did too, when it was all hailed right!

I still have not watched. Drama in the name of "aag laga denge" is not something I like to watch,

I did watch the drunk scene and the precap just happened to pop up so watched that too..

@Bold: In my world of fiction- AKT should let Imlie go. When he knows the truth, there is no way I see him trying to bring back Imlie or even apologize to her. His only redemption is losing...and he is on that way. But I do want to see him rising from that and making a better life for himself and ofcourse for Imlie. He did it before I do see him doing that again.

Rest I don't know about Imlie..
