If bitterness is the future AY, then I don't know how long will it take for them to come on the same page. See if the distance is due to someone else, then by resolving that situation, usually the couple work out their differences. But if here Imlie refuses to even acknowledge that she is wrong and ADI is just lost in understanding where he went wrong, unless a third party actively gets them together, will these 2 be able to resolve their differences? I hope they do.
It is so funny that Imlie today came across as bitter, egotistic and everything we used to once blame Malini of being. Rather than actually have a clear conversation, she wanted to just hurt him so that he suffers as much as she did. Adi had some very valid points that Imlie did not even bother to hear, forget process. She proved Adi's fear when he told her that I asked you one question that changed my life, so I am too frightened to ask you anything else. So going forward, her feeling bad that Adi only taunts her and does not speak to her properly will only sound hollow to me atleast.
Right now I still feel that Imlie is repeating Adi's mistake in trusting someone she should not, despite being warned off otherwise. She is going to face the repurcussions of that choice, the same way Adi once did. But funnily atleast Adi's choices had history and the fact that Malini was always saccharine sweet and acting bechari in front of him, so him falling for her act atleast had some coherence. But here Imlie is willing to trust a stranger who has never been good to her, demeaned her and her upbringing multiple times and downright insulted her at various occasions. She feels more secure taking his ehsaan because she assumes that by making her give rent, he is giving her more izzat than her husband did when he got her to his house. She is forgetting that even when she came to the Rathod house, no one bothered to tell her where she would be lodging, till she slept in the middle of the hall and her new dost had to literally trip over her yo understand that she needs a room to stay🤷. Atleast when she came to the T house, she was immediately given a space that she made hers in the mist unique way, where she remained out of choice till Aparna did her grahpravesh in Adi's room, and not moving to either the guest room or Rupi's room, despite Adi begging her to do so on multiple occasions. But nahi, apparently Adi treated her as a naukrani and this guy treated her like a mehmaan. These points tell me that when she realises her new dost's true intentions, she will actually face a similar dhakka that Adi will on learning Malini's true face. Baaki only Atif knows when we will get to see atleast that.
