They should have given chance to him in super singer. He needed it more than others in terms of income

I don't think he is versatile enough to do that job. He is basically untrained and has his own style. He can only train clones.
Also, he seems to be doing regular shows. How much of these are stories to garner attention and sympathy we don't know. When he joined the show he pretended that he was only a street singer. But there was enough evidence of him doing formal shows with well known singers available to dispute that story.
My sense is he has been making good money since Idol. He wants something from the Govt. of Rajasthan and this news item is for that purpose.

I feel they should concentrate on their regional industries(which are doing well and giving them opportunities too) and SMP can carry on with her concerts. Not exactly excited about them concentrating on regional industries as a viewer..it will just mean they didn't leverage the enormous opportunity they got as finalists of a super successful and one of the longest running national reality show..

Of course they will get enough work at regional level..and popularity too..but limited.

Fans will follow their work till a certain level..like how long would we be happy watching their insta posts about doing small gigs in different cities? And how much would we hear them in a language we dont understand? Would be happy for their 'regional' success but unhappy as n admirer of their talent.

I was very positive about Aishwarya Majmudar and Anwesha Dutta at one point of time..both good talents..now both r working at regional level..and not hearing much about Aishwarya even though she's from my own state and is fairly successful.

Sadly, I see young girls of II12 going the same way..plan well girls..u have immense potential

I see your point and agree as well.

My post was under assumption they are not getting Bollywood offers so if the option is between a regional industry vs reality show on sony I would prefer regional songs as a fan. But as you said in future I hope SMP will put a dedicated effort to grab some hindi songs or try doing her own music videos with collaboration with some music labels. For later she need money which she is earning now with concerts.

Young girls do have lot of potential but when they don't have opportunities they are doing best with in the available options in my opinion. May be Arunitha is in better position than SMP as she has HR and Octopus albums while SMP's songs are yet to be released. Only time can tell future of these two young girls. We can only hope they get better opportunities and don't disappoint us.
