Unpopular Opinion: Karan Perfectly Handled Rakhi/Ritesh

What Ritesh said about their relationship being fake is his call and completely within the realm of the show, especially since he was asked to rank fake people. But his choice of words was pathetic. I don't care if he is out of the limelight or not camera trained, but he should learn to choose words carefully and diplomatically, if for no other reason then at least to protect relationships in life/work/society. "Camera kelie kiss karte ho" WTF - that is downright offensive and Karan/Teja had every right to be offended. If it was me I would have been too.

Then on top of that was that visibly uncomfortably moment where Teja was sitting on the couch, making zero eye contact with Rakhi, struggling to defend herself while Rakhi is spewing her vulgar garbage about kisses, kambals, bedtime hugs and whatnot. In a fair world, Rakhi would be strictly reprimanded for her behavior - she is basically slu+shaming Teja in front of the country. Even when BB used to at least try to maintain a little bit of social awareness, Salman would have warned Rakhi. But nope, this is the 2021 BB where she is the greatest entertainer of the show. First season mein she provided shock factor for the pre-internet era audience. 14 mein she "saved" a sinking show by openly harassing a married man on TV. And now this BS.

I am not a fan of Karan but I am glad he did not mince words today and went straight on the attack. Rakhi and/or Rakhi's husband should be the last people in the planet shaming someone for cozying up on camera for recognition/money/fame/success on the show. Karan handled it perfectly. He spoke enough to make Rakhi understand that this guy will defend himself but not so much that Rakhi starts outing his own past. I hope she doesn't go this route now. I really felt heartbroken seeing Teja, who - no matter how anyone feels about her - clearly was hesitant to start a relationship on TV, being shamed like this. It was an attack on her character. I saw comments here saying Karan should not have hit back. I disagree. He gave it back to the sleazebags in their own language.

Can not agree more. The guy who had no problems questioning a girl's morales and character with his cheap and derogatory questions based on imaginary things which didn't occurred, could not handle a single point on himself which he himself confessed and cried about personal matter then don't go and put your nose on other people's business.

I did not like Rakhi last season... I do not like her now! The way she is twisting words and meaning she is out right lying to break their bound. Why this insecurity? why this jealousy? compatibility test main dikh gaya ki kiska bond sacha hai aur kiska fake.

It was disgusting... the things they said to Teja and Karan were downright wrong. I loved the way Teja owned the 'Aashiq' tag effectively shutting everyone down. She does not see it as a gaali or as anything bad. She owns what she feels.

Moreover loved the way she told Rakhi "its not going to work. I trust Karan" Bang on! Rakhi was lying and Teja made it absolutely clear that nothing can between them. She trusts him and will continue to do so.

Karan giving it back was also important! I am glad he did!

Rakhi ne jab cheekh cheekh ke national television pe apni shaadi ki baat ki toh personal? Lekin Teja aur Karan ka relationship not personal? Toh phir himmat rakho sunne ki... jab suna rahe ho toh sunne ki himmat rakho!

Yup - totally agreed. Teja and Karan both shut that shit down beautifully.

I haven’t seen Rakhi before but I’m glad. The way she’s been the past two days makes me cringe. Yday made me feel like they have made a perception about Teja & KK and is hell bent on proving it right like some people so no matter what they do, she’ll always think they are fake. I’m super glad tho they gave them back in their rightful way. Hopefully it won’t be brought up again as it was painful to watch.

I honestly can’t wait for them to be out of BB and continue being strong. It’ll be a tight slap on everyone’s face who called them fake. So many people have called Mahira/ Paras, Pavitra/ Eijaz, Meisha/ Ieshaan and many more the fake and they turned out to be real… but apparently some people don’t learn

While I agree with you on the fact that Rakhi sl*t shaming Teja was distasteful and indecent and wrong I love how a lot of people being outraged by it were themselves indulging in sl*t shaming Neha and Pratik (not you) similarly so all I gotta say is double standards much 😂😂

Anyways did you notice how this time Teja got way more taunts over their relationship and last time Neha even though Karan and Pratik were equally involved?

I think makers send in VIPs with task to rile everyone. Shamita and Debo, Pratik and Rashmi and the rest for Karan Tejaswi. Glad that VIPs are getting it back. Good job guys. Especially loved Umar exposing Shamita to her face. A good hate between them is better for TV than their boring selves.

But she is 100% doing the kiss for camera so whats wrong with calling that out. It is 100% a fake romance taking gullible viewers for a ride

I dont see why calling a spade a spade is so wrong, we public have a weird stockholm syndrome with celebrities. They can fool us and take us for a ride but everyone should just bow before them and use respectful words even though its obvious they are trying to con us
