He himself got most awards simply because he was a Bachchan and husband of Ash. Hardly deserved awards he got.

He is being trolled everywhere on social media for his foolhardy interview. Aamir Khan is not popular enough? Sunny Deol and Ajay Devgan who are other actors who rarely attended awards and criticised award system are not popular or did not deserve awards? Rishi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor who themselves admitted they tried to buy awards are lying?

Akshay Kumar and Kangana Ranaut who admit how awards are given out these days are not popular?

Everyone knows awards have no criteria except connections or accepting award even if you are paid less for performing at award shows and sometimes you get award for merely attending a show. Gone are the days when awards had prestige or went to deserving people. Nowadays even audience laughs at dime a dozen award shows and their categories.

Aamir Khan is anyday more popular and deserving than Abhishek ever will be so he can simply keep quiet instead of mocking those who rightfully criticise award shows.
