GKB is such a good actress lmao (i mean Alka Mogha does such a good job of acting like she is acting)

Sona and Bijoy now that is a good parent-child bond! COMPLETELY non-creepy and yet with the same kind of devotion that Dev and Ishwari have. It just has healthy boundaries.

I don't know how ishwari did not react to "tere liye uski naukri chudwayi hai" i would have expected him to scold her.

Tbh, somewhere I feel Mama ji is also responsible for the way GKB and Vicky are. He constantly dismises her and is always comparing Vicky to Dev. His views are correct but the way he says them are bound to have an effect.

Btw on a side note, Ishwari was the first person to call Sona " Banglan" but later on GKB constantly calls her that in an insulting way. For a long time I thought that was because maybe Dev and ishwari never realised that it was said in a bad way.

But a looong time later during the pregnancy track I think Ishwari corrects GKB and says there's nothing wrong with being a Bengali. It's just astounding to me that she let Sona be insulted for so long, first as her doctor and then as her DIL. She never felt that she should stand up for her. And Dev? He did not do a single thing!

I remember Vicky corrected GKB the first day she said it to Elena. I think that's probably the only thing I respect Vicky for.

Poor Sonakshi. Removing one from their hard earned job is like stripping you off of your identity. She's such a passionate doctor...that scene was so cute with her patient. It was sad yet beautiful till the beast entered. He was just ashamed of chucking her out of her job ..not guilty at all. I'm glad Sonakshi told him off. Trying to buy everything and everyone with money as per his needs. Such a great lesson he has learnt given his oh so traumatic past.

Riya came to Neha to take blessings but forgot about Ishwari. Speaks volumes about the kind of a mother Ishwari is to the daughters.

Saurabh is so careless with expenses when he doesn't even earn a penny. That attitude of her rejecting a job offer as if there is a queue of offers....aise log kabhi nahi sudharte when it comes to professional life.

Khana drama of Dixits khandaan again! Neha wanting to join Dev's office but what is Ishwari's problem with this now? Beti aage badhe toh bhi problem?! And Dev...he doesn't need to interfere everytime Neha and Ishwari are conversing. These maa beta can't see anyone beyond eachother. Maa, beta aur unka paisa...bas.

Sonakshi taking Saurabh in confidence and letting him know about her job is a good move. Hopefully now he'll genuinely try to work.

Ishwari and Sonakshi's first meeting and she has already started causing losses to Sonakshi. Maa compromised the new job and beta chucked her Outta the old one! How many times has Ishwari fainted till now? Kitna faint hoti hai?

Phir se maangne aa gaya Sonakshi ke paas? Aise ghar kaun pahuch jaata hai directly?

I cringe every time someone calls her Bangalan, seriously. It was made so belittling and wrong. I think at a certain point Dev starts to give GKB “the look” whenever she says that so she stops saying it in front of him. Vicky stood up for Elena many times after their wedding. I think post wedding even Ishwari didn’t like it a few times when GKB called her that so she used to say “ba..bahurani”.

Oh yes, i remember the transformation to "bahurani" but I think that was just in the initial days and it got switched back very quickly.

Honestly Dev was her boss, he should have put an end to it very quickly. Even Ishwari but I can see why she didn't as she didn't like her.

Bold 1- Riya and Nikki had Neha as a mother. Ishwari was just Dev's mom and it shows. They are both so much better as people compared to the utter emotional disaster that Neha and Dev are. Because Ishwari was overly attentive to one child and completely neglectful of the other.

Bold 2- i agree! I was pretty upset at Saurabh in the start. Even though it may seem that Sona is the favourite child of the family it is Saurabh that is the most coddled. Even by his own little sister.

Bold 3- lol exactly. Dev and Ishwari always forget that there was a third person suffering right alongside them. Because Neha stayed at home they think she doesn't count. They only feel guilty when Neha bluntly reminds them. And I think somewhere or the other Dev knows that Ishwari is not a good mother to his sisters that's why he always interrupts Neha when she is trying to show ishwari the mirror.

Bold 4- arre she faints A LOT. Abhi toh bohot baaki h. She faints at such opportunistic times that it seems deliberate lmao.

Bold 5- Our Mr. Aubodhro ki habit h ye. Wherever his Sona is, he has to go 😂😂

When Dev was asking her to join, it looked like it was the first time he was saying "please" to someone. Good acting from Shaheer there, you could feel the struggle lol.

I'm glad Sona gave it back to him and how. "Paise wale gareeb" dialogue was savage af.

Just love the bonding between the sisters. It's like there are 2 parallel world inside the Dixit house. One has Ishwari and Dev, and the other has the sisters. So much so that the sisters don't even really know their own brother.

Saurabh gets better later on. Here he doesn't seem to realize the gravity of the situation. Probably because he's never had to shoulder responsibility and assumes Sona will come through when needed. Poor Sona, she shouldn't have to do so much when she has a capable brother to share responsibilities.

Better get used to Ishwari fainting and Dev appearing at Sona's door. 😂

Later on when Asha writes a book, she actually talks about an old lady who keeps fainting. 😆😆

Asha ke liye mera respect aise badh gaya I swear.

I just realized Dev didn't even take more than a couple of days before he literally got Sona's address and tracked her down. Can't stay away anymore 🤭

P.S. I too cheated and watched the 10th epi as well 😅

Will share my thoughts about it tomorrow but just wanted to say that I love the naaa na na tune's version they played in that epi. The only other time I remember this being played was epi 388 when Dev and Ishwari have that conversation in the kitchen. That bgm is somehow more pure and not tainted by Ishwari's jealousy.

That was probably Sonas biggest flaw. She was too accomodating. I don't know if they wanted to show this was her " sanskar" or what but the way she never complained about GKB and even the way Vikki behaved with her. She stood up for herself only against Dev. Just imagine if she would have behaved more like how Elena lmao
