yes i know about that but dont you think it would look weird like from a rational pov,elena is shown to be so passionately in love with damon like they say "a love that consumes you" and suddenly she's again back with stefan i personally feel it wouldnt sit well with the audience like neutral audience if there is any

For Stefan she had said,
"You should be in love with someone who makes you feel glad that you are alive, with Stefan I got that"
"Its always going to be Stefan"
"Its you and me Stefan, always"
"I can't forget how I feel about you"
Even Klaus could see their love ---- "that kind of love never dies
Caroline----- "Stefan is your epic love"
Stefan and Elena have seen so much together, Stefan's hunger phase, Stefan even fought Klaus's compulsion when he was compelled to feed on Elena
Even when Caroline forced him to turn his humanity off, he told Elena to get him back
Even at the bottom of the quarry, it was Elena's thoughts that helped him fight
He chose Elena's life and happiness over his own life and future with his wife in the last scene
And there is so much more, the bottom line is that though Delena is nice ship and they have their moments but Stelena would always be superior for me. (I can give a few points in favour of Delena ship too actually :p)

frankly, I didn't follow much after she turned into a vampire. the scenes I really remember are-
1. When Stefan gets to know that she loves Damon now, he had shouted, "how many more ways for you to rip my heart out"
2. The whole Travellers, Silas and Quetsiya track
3. When Damon was in the prison world and he had told her how to start a new life.
And all this time, I had thought that I was only reading too much into it
i could draw some parallels between klaus and damon and the most common one till now was tormenting their siblings klaus has his entire family daggered and we all know how damon mostly treats stefan..i could see similarities between stefan and elijah tooOriginally posted by: Monstuholic
