Juvvi9, a very obvious example of how forced even their MU's are being made. Anyhow, that article is what an editorial page is for. The front page is usually reserved for breaking news/critical headlines- news. So what he said was not wrong. Also I do not think there is any jealousy angle yet...His reaction was more on the terms of people should not misconstrue that she is being favored hence her article made it to the front page.

Baki toh bhai AKT show ka sabse bada 'sinner' hai...if he picks his left hand to drink water- he will be wrong.

Same here whatever.. He was more on the concerned side with his emotions too playing in BG I would say.. We know he gets real insecure when he thinks about anyone taking interest in imlie.. He trusts her love but since all the things happened on the vishwas angle darr hai isko kahi na kahi.. That will play out in terms of anger..

Imlie to flips every now n then uska alag hi tangent hai these days..

All said and done, this was Imlie's first ever article. The first milestone she has achieved in her career. I just cannot digest that this man, who has seen and been an integral part of Imlie's journey so far, let his emotions get the better of him today and lashed out at her with his words like this. 😒 Yeh galat hai, matlab galat hai. 👎🏼 No excuses for him today.

Chalo, for a second let's say his argument is valid - there'll be nothing left for her to strive now that her article was published on the front page. Why the hell is he berating Imlie for ASR's decision?! It is not Imlie who has the power to decide which article is published on which page! He himself had been upset earlier that his own article was not given importance and ASR had made it crystal clear that revenue generating pieces will be given prime space. You're pissed at ASR, you take it up with him. Why belittle Imlie's efforts on such a momentous occasion? He basically ruined this whole day for her. 😒 She will remember this for a lifetime. Just because you're damn insecure and you choose to believe your gehri dost's poisonous words, you don't even recognize your own dear wife's hard work? 🤬 You call it aam news?! Wtf?

Adi is a grown man, period. He may act like a petulant child, but he ain't one, and I am not going to give him any leeway over this anymore. 👎🏼

I have come with my two cents and I have maha bakhwas…

After watching there is no jealousy… to me and I could be so wrong there is hurt cos this journey he dreamed together with her . It is as much his as hers and he was supposed to go down this journey with her. Now he feels that she is cutting him off by rejecting his help, by not calling him to share the joy ( of course it works both ways) and well he feels like asr is usurping him in his role as imlie mentor ( feel free to tell me I am wrong) … there is hurt and it very realistic .. a husband and wife see a dream together and one goes down that road and the other feels left behind there is hurt.. but not jealousy cos if jealousy he could have told her her article was not worthy of front page.. yet when she questioned if he doubted her talent he blasted her and asked her how she could say that.. instead he didn’t think this was the right way… whether like someone said could be that he worried if will look like special treatment I don’t think so she has no relationship with asr and they all know asr decides now.. and anyway if she reaches front page now on her first article and that too a general piece then she has not learnt anything..

baaki he is right in one thing, hw is scared to ask her anything anymore. His life exploded because of his stupidity and he doesn’t know how much more harm he can do.

Can I add on that his point on why the article was not in the general section, actually it’s a valid point… it could have been on first leg but not headline or it could be second page but then again adi article on imlie achievements was front page but then she was second in state so I guess that is ok…

Seperately nowhere do I see Didi words having any effect and making him doubt imlie.. but yes he is doubting asr intentions big time and his hurt is not helping him

JP he needs a smack for that.. But they way synopsis was given made me even think that he's jealous of her achievements n what not.. So that wasn't the case atleast..

Ye M ka kuch karna padega.. He would've congratulated her n later koi office mei point out kardeta to same reaction deta ye banda..

But as soon as he saw Imlie getting out of ASR's car this gadha remembered M's words..

Right now he is hurt cos he thinks she doesn’t want his congrats or his validation or anything . So he didn’t even want to say anything that would hurt her. His pride is there in the way he read the artIcle but when u are hurt I guess that overrides it. Both are hurting and both are too scared to rock the boat so to speak.

AdI is worried that imlie is maybe moving on without him… not with asr as a partner but as a mentor maybe and that is hurting him that maybe she will realise her life is better without him in it. Of course she won’t but he is not thinking straight …He couldn’t care less about Didi and her nonsense to be honest and they need to stop this stupid sound effects when Didi talks.

Now Didi will get imlie kicked out of hostel, asr will find her and bring her home no? Then Didi will kan bahroo… and then adi will really feel even more hurt that imlie is carving a life without him.

I saw the scene is a completely different light.. I felt he was happy to see her even her article.. and yes he can be a a very arrogant person but at the same time there was something more to it..

My interpretation from that scene was in two levels both of protecting Imlie

1. Imlie as 19 ye old who wrote a piece and got it in front page.. this is a huge success at the same time this is setting her up for a very judgmental road ahead.. anything below that will be always looked up as she got plain lucky with her first article… he is giving her realistic perspective.. also he says he has issue with how ASR is operating abd that’s also a fact… today he gave you front page tomorrow with your one mistake he will show you door.. the wrong expectations from anyone will be a big problem for imlie going frwd.. and he was concerned there..

there was a cut in the scene and I don’t know what they cut out but that’s where left me.. she says humse bolne ki himmat nahi hai.. Issi liye yeh kati kati baatein yeh ajeeb se sawaal.. so I am guessing he asked her to evaluate her own article and she didn’t want to do it.. or felt he is just jealous of her achievements.. which he exploded and said why would I..

2. Then I come to Malinis words.. Malini being Malini just gave a perspective to Aditya on how the world would perceive Imlie.. people will say she found herself a sugar daddy.. who is doing favoritism and pushing imlie to top.. when Malini doesnt think once before saying it in front of family.. the world will be more brutal than this.. these all played in his head the moment she stepped out of that car.. today the people who are hailing her will be pulling her down.. again one mistake and the world/ asr will be against her… he is trying to protect her from that… he won’t character assassinate her world would.. and that’s exactly what will happen in precap..

also he should have said congratulations to her.. she deserved that.. but at the same time.. she has been pushing him away from her.. she has not said anything pleasant to him during the entire assignment.. she has doubted his intentions.. also given a long lecture on why he thinks it’s ego when in 2 mins she proved that it was all about ego while indirectly lecturing him on bharosa..

While he could have still given her shabashi he is also taking past as a reference point.. and the whole Malini dialogues made him even madder..

I am disappointed the way these two characters are behaving at the same time I am relieved that he didn’t shout at her the way he did when he lost job.. it was a lot of concern / insecurity masked in anger than jealousy..

This was bound to happen that he will say it in such a way that she and us viewers will misunderstand him and as much as I hate to admit writers have achieved it!

RD… agree that there is hurt and you r right.. he does feel excluded… imagine a general scenario if imlie walkout had not happened instead of ASR imlie would have walked in with aditya.. he would have been proud of her.. people would have hailed them both as almost a power couple.. and even then the dynamics would have been same… her success would have been his.. he would never feel less cause she has risen more!

but that whole thing got scrapped.. Malini is spewing poison for imlie.. then imlie walking in with asr. Yes there was hurt too! She is trying to make a world without him.. he always knew she can.. and she will… but he wants to be there for her.. with her and right now he is struggling to find even a smile on her..

Imlie writers have been ambiguous from beginning.. you really have to SEE it to believe it.. imagine how riled up we were in afternoon and now we r seeing the same scene in such a different light.. they r shrewd of the highest order!
