I have from a good source that the Top 6 recorded for Sony yesterday.

If we accept that, what could they have recorded?

My guesses, in particular order of likelihood are:
1. Episode for India's Best Dancer.
2. New Year Eve party on Sony TV.

Wild one, (everyone who responds gets to name a wild one )

3. SAREGAMPA 2021 as guests. Sony in any case now owns ZEE, so anything is possible

New year is far away. Feels too early. Saregamapa may not be as they need practice for duets and we know top4 and SMP are not available for practice sessions. May be IBD with some repeat songs so that no practice needed. Just a random guess.
