I thought promo showed like two parallel tracks, one of maan and the other shah family drama. I didn't see it as vanraj planning some kand against maan... Pata nahin.

As for bapuji's words, I agree with most of the povs that anu needs a push every time (@hinz I hvnt read all of it but this is in ur ff too right, devika doing the pushing) and like she said in previous epi, for her the yardstick to measure right and wrong is bapuji's opinion. So if bapuji says anuj ka pyar should be in your life, then it is more in the way of guidance than pressure or permission. Also I think for a woman like anu, who has loved thanklessly and unrequited for so many years that it just became a habit with her I think, and who hasn't had any appreciation or admiration wasted on her, the fact that anuj has loved her without break for so long is itself a powerful love potion.. Even before knowing that he loved her the ground for her to love him was laid by her knowing his character, 'woh har waqt maryada mein rehte hain' , and how he respects and loves his kaka..his fond memories of his mum....and his sincere efforts to make a difference through his company for the betterment of the country, women etc... his essential goodness a mirror of her own. She probably already has reciprocative feelings but needs the push to acknowledge it to herself and then another push to have the courage to act upon it.

I just couldn't stop laughing visualising Ladla as chowkidaar. With cafe gone it is a good option.
