Neha and Ishwari needed to have that talk... Dev shouldn't have interfered so strongly. He could have asked Neha to talk respectfully and just shut right there. Asking Neha to understand Ishwari's condition...fair enough. Children should think about all the hardships parents go through while parenting. But my main problem is Dev just doesn't seem to understand Neha's pain. He thinks that just coz he has given a better life to them now...she should move on and forget the issues she has with her mother. Irony is he himself has not moved on yet. Hypocritical and self centred... Ishwari's son right there. This reminds of Sonakshi's dialogue from S3...tum maa ke baare mein sochte ho aur woh tumhare...bas yahi hota hai us ghar mein. So true. She was ten years late to say it.

Ishwari concentrates her complete energy on Dev that she forgets her daughters even today...when there are no financial issues. Also I understand that a brother or a sister has to look after their siblings even after their marriage but in Ishwari's case it's like Dev should look after his siblings and she will (OVER)look after him..lol. I doubt she will in anyway make any genuine effort to help her daughters... she's too preoccupied with her son.

GKB has no business to talk about Dev's wedding without consulting him or his mother. Though I'll give it to her coz she said that she'll speak to them...she didn't promise. She is just thinking about Neha's happiness. Like Ishwari thinks just about herself and Dev.

Rita and Nikki are happy people... brought up by Neha. So surprising honestly.

Nariyal sar par phod do....lol. Chipku mother and daughter... they aren't taking the hint.

Dance kaunse gaane par tha?...yt muted it.

Bijoy ❤️ He's one of the best fathers I've seen on ITV. Sonakshi is really lucky to have him as her father.

Yes it tracks very much with her character especially because Ishwari only ever gave importance to Sonakshi for her uterus.

I know right! So profound. My main reason for rewatching the whole show is literally because of this. I really love trivia and these symbolic dialogues and season one is FULL of these, that you actually won’t understand at first, but can put fully into perspective when you watch it for the second or third time. I can’t wait to dissect the episodes.

Ishwari is always sweet and forgiving and gentle with GKB but in this case she was firm and rude. Just shows that she won't respect anything when it comes to her right on Dev.

Honestly Sameer looked very evil in this scene when he told everyone that "Dev bhai kuch bhi karenge apni behen k liye"

It felt more like he did not want to give up the 30% company share

Ishwari is the master of blackmail here. Forget standing by your daughter's wishes here toh she's like she did gunah and it's all because I didn't teach her sanskar. 🙄

Dev was ready to get married for Neha but Ishwari would rather see her daughter suffer the break-up than loosen her hold on her son.

(Sorry if anyone feels I'm being too harsh. I think on the re-watch all my Ishwari hate is re-emerging)

This episode makes me feel such anger towards ishwari. She's like that little kid in the group who can never ever be scolded no matter what they do.

GKB was 100% right. Neha k zindagi ka faisla koi aur le toh thik h lekin Dev k liye nai? Mama ji is there always ready to defend his little sister as if she is a child.

While GKB should not have promised anything without consulting I feel that if this was for Neha ishwari would be like Bhabi ki zubaan ki baat rakhni padegi.

Ishwari just ruined her daughters marriage and yet has the audacity to call out Dev for hiding things from her. Can she ever put anything other than Dev's actions and her feelings on it , at the top priority? ( I ofcourse know the answer is hell no but still 😅)

I am so much in support of Neha in this scene. For them to belittle her wishes this way is just gross.

Riya is my favourite Dixit sister precisely because she is the person who understands everyone.

Dev just revolves around Ishwari and tries to find short-term solutions that help no one in the end.

Neha is drowning in her past and wishes to just think about her own happiness (very valid and nothing wrong with that)

Nikki is still a kid who just wants everyone to be happy.

It figures that the two girls who grew up under Nehas parenting are much more emotionally well adjusted than Dev and Neha who had to go through Ishwaris selfish parenting.

Ishwari manages to turn even Nehas decision of not wanting kids in her life into an issue about herself and how Neha is ONLY doing it to punish Ishwari. I mean, how self centred can you get lol?

If "Ek maa banna hi aurat ka sabse bada saubhagya hota h" (which I don't agree but ok) and your daughter doesn't want to be a mother don't you think this is something you should try to understand instead of just saying it's wrong?

And the way Dev and Ishwari refuse to see that Neha already had to become a mom at such a young age? Disgusting.

The scenes at Bose house are like thanda nimbu paani after enduring the dramatic heat of Dixit house

I am fully in support of Neha here. Ishwari ko apne bete ki shaadi k sapne h . Uska faisla lene ka uska haq h. Lekin uski betiyan kisse shaadi karti h kya hota h, vo sab koi aur kare that's fine.

And now her fainting spells start 🙄🙄🙄

Can't wait for Devakshi to meet!

This episode was fun but also made me super upset!

Ishwari makes every problem about herself. It’s terrible and tedious to watch sometimes. Bhai meri nazar to dev se ni hatti how am I supposed to concentrate on the story 😂

They danced on Banno tera Swagger & London Thumakda. I was indeed irritated with the muting of songs, because it also mutes parts of the dialogues so I watch it on the app 🥲🥲🥲

Okay, so confession time: I mostly skipped GKB, Ishwari & Vicky scenes throughout the season when I watched it the first time. For this rewatch (and because I freaking PAY for Sony LIV, I’m going to watch everything. So bear with me if I rant 🙊

Okay so Ishwari telling GKB that she doesn’t want a rose, but a Tulsi plant. I remember reading somewhere (I guess YouTube? Not sure) the significance of this dialogue. So apparently, a Tulsi plant is (as we all know) worshipped, respected. BUT simultaneously, it’s kept outside the house (in the aangan). Though needed to fulfill the obligations in pooja, because no pooja is complete without tulsi, she has no place inside. (did I already tell you that I’m a BIG fan of season 1 dialogues. Amazing) And that’s exactly what Ishwari wants. A girl that is a part of their house, not their home. Dev is Krishna, Sonakshi is Tulsi. Inside the house Krishna is without Tulsi & Ishwari decides when Tulsi gives her leaves inside the house.

Coming back to the episode: GKB tried to cover the whole issue, but Ishwari said nothing. Hmm. Why don’t you want the runner up of Miss Punjabi Bagh as your bahu????

Sad Sameer’s mom insulted Neha like this, I mean hello..

Also, there comes Sameer’s mom with her coconut again 😂 Glad Sameer spoke up, for whatever reason he agreed to marry Neha. Before Dev could say anything (and I think he was about to say yes) Ishwari interrupted 🥲

GKB was right with her “Neha ka rishta karwaya to wah bhabhi, Dev ka rishta karwaya to na bhabhi”. She was very right in telling Ishwari about her partiality.

Cheshta acted so well in the scene after, where she tells Ishwari why she doesn’t want kids.

Love interactions with Mamaji & Vicky 😝 Nice how even Ishwari knows how Neha would only listen to GKB.

Blown away by the tulsi analogy. It makes complete sense. I never thought of it that way. Like wow!!!

Super accurate in my view... I hat going thorugh their drama and bakwaas. In her exchange with Radha (GKB) I think Radha was absolutely right. she was blunt and straightforward about her point but sach kadwa hi hota hai. I really despise Ishwari.
