If I recall correctly, durjoy did say in one interview that he was associated with KRPKAB from day 1. Not sure why the credentials were given to him after 60+ eps?

Weird indeed, I was stalking Durjoy on twitter & after 2017 he didn’t tweet once about Kuch Rang. I guess he also realized that masterpieces are best left untouched.

Drama of ek shaadi par dusri shaadi free continues

Honestly it wasn't GKB's place to promise something like that without consulting Ishwari or Dev... especially when everyone seems to be aware of what kind of a mother Ishwari is to Dev!

Chipku mother...why is she so desperate for her brilliant daughter to get hitched in this house ? Neither did I understand her or son Sameer for agreeing for this alliance. Good riddance honestly for Neha... everyone thought of manipulating her after marriage... including her brother.

That breakdown scene was so well done by Cheshta... 👍🏼

Ishwari and Dev....no matter what happens to the other person...all these two(mostly Ishwari) are concerned about how the other person is feeling. When the kids condition was revealed... she was more shocked that Dev hid it from her rather than being sad. Matlab hadd hai...a very strange relationship is shared by these two.

The power GKB has over Neha(love, concern too) has made it even easier for Ishwari to neglect her daughter and concentrate on the son. Neha was right that for her brother again her share of happiness was snatched away....but it was for her own good.

Dev was the eldest and smartest( and a son more importantly)... that's her reason. And he seems to have done well for them. He succeeded in life. This might've freed her of whatever guilt (if at all) she had for not being there for Neha. I feel she doesn't think she actually did anything wrong...that she favoured Dev a little more than Neha...in her mind she's justified. And this is why she will never understand her daughter... neither will Dev understand Neha's suffering.

Saurabh the binnezz man... how is he like that lol. So Sonakshi has always been the primary support to her family. What does Bijoy do? Is he retired? How come they don't have a house to call their own? Or they have one in Kolkata. How did they manage after Sonakshi's marriage?

@bold: Yeah Bijoy has retired. Sona mentioned in some episode that bijoy's pension gets used up in buying his medicines.

That house is theirs only, right? They're not living in Delhi on rent.

Sourabh does has good binezz sense, that's what is established later on😆 He's the kind of guy who doesn't enjoy working for someone else bound by rules lol. So he sets up of business with a few friends.. and after Sona's marriage, his partner cheated on him.. so again, he's bankrupt and bose fam tries to solve the problem without Sona's help.. eventually she did come to know and had to assist... Baaki you should watch, because what she comes up with to help her fam is so touching!😃

Oh is that so? His name in credits was much later. He said he was involved from ep 1?

Unable to find that interview.. I probably watched it as a clip on twitter.

He said that his association with kuch rang was there since inception.. maybe not as a writer initially. I guess things with him were yet to be materialized..or Mamta might've hired him for the romance part of Devakshi's relationship 😆

Oh, then it's probably writing fallacy in that episode...as one of the reasons of Devakshi's separation was a loan drama.. to get rid off the loan, Sona sold Bose house & they lived on rent then, temporarily.. so the house had to be theirs in the first place.
